Okay, so my mom decided to go out last night with her sisters and her boyfriend to
have fun. That puts me in the situation of having to go to my grandma's house with
my sister and brother. It's not that I hate my grandma or anything, it's just that I
don't quite enjoy being there.

Well, anyways, I had recently heard the song "Sora" by UVERworld. And it grew on me.
So, I'm pretty much an UVERworld fan and I was surfing through youtube for different
UVERworld things like karaokes, lyrics, and instrumentals. I came across a video
that used the song Sora. The video was supposed to have the "female version" of the
song, but I already knew that the pitch was just changed. Usually, "female versions"
of male songs suck and "male versions" of female songs sounds hot. I don't know how
things work that way, but anyways....

I started to watch the video and the song sounded pretty good, the only thing that I
didn't like was the poor quality of the song. I was on multiple websites, so I
wasn't really watching the video. When I clicked back on the youtube tab, I read the
description (because I always do that, it's a habit) and the uploader said that the
movie that was used was called "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" and had said that it
was a pretty good movie. So, I replayed the video, and actually watched it. For the
most part, the same clips just repeated in a random order to match the music, but the
clips drew my attention.

So, googled The Girl Leapt Through Time and clicked on the wikipedia link. I read
the intro and plot and then the release. While reading the plot, I had opened up
another tab and googled each of the characters as they were mentioned, so that I
could get a visual of the events. Sadly, the plot was so confusing, that I decided
to just watch the movie to get a better explanation. I went to Netflix and looked
it up, but I couldn't just hit play and watch it, I had to add it. So, I started
surfing the web to find the movie, then I found out there was an english dub. On
DubHappy, the movie didn't play, so I went back to google and clicked on the link
that led to or something like that. The movie was only 1 hour
and about 35 minutes long. So, I started to watch it. There were parts that I was
about to cry, but held my tears in (because I had eye make-up on and didn't want
running down my face) and there were parts where I couldn't hold in my tears.

Overall, I loved the story, the theme, the characters, and everything about the
movie. This movie actually gave me that rare feeling I get when I watch something
that's really good and feel satisfied about the ending. My favorite character was
Chiaki Mamiya. He was just cool and sweet and he seemed different afterwards, but
I'm not spoiling it for anyone!!! The only thing I found that was strange, and I'm
probably the only person who thinks this, but I thought that Chiaki kinda looked like
Shizuo Heiwajima. It's wierd, but I thought he did!! If you give him a haircut and
dye his hair blonde, he would seriously look like Shizuo!!!!!

If you read all of that, then even I'm surprised, because I know how bad my ranting
about something can get. I just felt like talking about this movie to someone or
something. I like to discuss animes and movies that I've watched with someone who
has or hasn't watched it. Most of this diary is off topic from the title, but then
again, it's not because it tells about my discovery of the movie "The Girl Who Leapt
Through Time."
