In Taiwakita, no one believes in Christmas! All the little boys and girls have to do
chores on Christmas, isn't that cruel?? Well, one year, a little girl named Dreika
knew this wasn't what this day was intended for! So Dreika saved up enough money and
took a flight to America. When she got there on December 25th, Christmas, It was
snowing! All the decorations were up, and everyone was spreading holiday cheer.
Dreika didn't know what to think of this, since she has never really experienced
christmas. She was all alone in front of the airport when a little boy named Thomas
came up to her. "Merry Christmas!" "What?" "Merry christmas... you
know, Santa... presents..." "I don't get it, can you show me?"
"Sure!" So Thomas took Dreika to the mall where it was all decorated and Santa
was there. "See. The decorations get people in the mood to give and get presents,
to celebrate Jesus's birth" "Wow, we never do this in Taiwakita, I wonder
why?" "I don't know, but you're sure missing out on alot! Here, lets go see
santa. He gives presents to every little boy and girl around the world. Amazing,
huh?" And with that, they headed toward Santa. Dreika now understood the REAL
meaning of December 25th. Thomas and Dreika seen Santa and took a picture with him.
Can you guess what Dreika asked for? She asked Santa for all the people in Taiwakita
to know what Christmas was really about and they celebrated it. So when she left
Thomas and headed back home, she thought about everything they could be doing on
Christmas. When she got home, her wish had come true.
