The Laenien Court p. 1, dedicated to MorgCategory: BTSSB story

A/N: I have decided to write a STORY based upon the incredibly beautiful (yet
unfortunately insanely expensive) clothes of Baby the Stars shine bright. Dedicated
to my wonderful friend Morg, who I hope understands the reference in the main

Another dawn broke out across the land of Laenia. The beautiful sunrise
struck the skies; it began with a shocking coral pink stripe shooting across a royal
blue sky as an enormous orange sphere slowly rose through the painted clouds. It was
a beautiful sight, especially for those living in the eastern quarter of the capital,
Thélen. A few mischevious stars still sparkled across the dark blue sky, twinklig
laughingly, as if snickering that they had snuck out past their bedtimes just to see
their king, the Sun, rise, and take his shift over from his queen, the moon. Many
Laenien poets, whom were great worshippers of every part of the sky, as all Laeniens
wore, woke far before dawn solely for the purpose of a firsthand glimpsing of this
phenomenon to jot down descriptions, later to be transformed into verses and sung by
bards to impress the royal family.

Speaking of the royal family of Laenia, poets were not the sole Laenien folk who
awoke early to watch the dawn sky transform into a morning atmosphere as fragile as a
lovely porcelain doll. Princess Tabitha Morgan Teyol always awoke, and dressed in one
of her pastel dresses, a bonnet, her favourite pair of slippers and a parasol to go
sit on her terrace and watch the dawn in awe. Today, she took her off-ivory dress,
embroidered at the bodice with pink bows and silk, with a larger bow at the waist and
embroidered at the skirt with designs of soft pink flowers. The lace hem brushed
softly against her slender, small legs as the pleasant smell of chocolate-covered
straawberries which emanated from her clothes wafted up to the cute nose of the
little princess of twelve years. Placing her slippers on her pretty feet, the
princess skipped out to her garden, tying the large pink bow on her baby-pink maryne
cape shirred with off-white lace which she wore in the winter months to keep warm. A
pair of white-gloved hands clasped a gentle pink, lacy parasol over her pretty,
smiling face.

The extremely petite princess smiled, for today was Thursday, her favourite day of
the week. Her eyes sparkled as she watched the dawn, popping chocolates into her
mouth. She always ate chocolates when watching the dawn on Thursday mornings, for as
her best friend, the young Duchess Annalie 'Coco' Parewet always said, Thursdays were
like nibbling the outside of a marshmallow chocolate, just tasting ever so little of
the caramel and marshmallow center.
