Well, the whole "wapanese" thing has been brought up in kupika, and it got me thinking: Am I one of these "wapanese girls" you hear so much of? 1. I FREAKIN' LOVE ANIME/MANGA. 2. I wanna learn Japanese. 3. I want to wear a Kimono atleast once in my life. 4. I'd love to eat a meal with chopsticks. 5. I want to go to japan. 6. I sometimes say "Kawaii" and stuff like that. 7. I even sometimes say "Chan" and stuff. (rarely, but still..) 8. I love most japanese fashion. 9. I listen to some japanese music. AND QUITE A FEW MORE THINGS THAT I CAN'T THINK OF RIGHT NOW. Help? ;^;

3. I want to learn japanese too!
4. I really want to go tokyo!
5. I eat fine with chopsticks...
6. I like japanese fashion, food and music.

But that's basically it..

NO NO!! Wapanese is people who always use Japanese words in their
speech. if I recall correctly
Like "OMG, that's so kawaii desu. Daisuki desu! Kimi wa pyshco ne~"
From what I see, you're simply an anime fan :D

For me, well, I eat with chopsticks every night.
I wanna wear a kimono.
I want to learn Japanese.
I read/watch a lot of animanga.
I like Japanese fashion. (Though Taiwan fashion is a lot like
I love Japanese singers and listen to Japanese songs all the time.
But that doesn't make me a Wapanese girl, simply a fan of uh, Japanese
Everyone else who commented is also a fan~

Fun fact: the people who want to use chopsticks every night and wear
kimonos are indeed Wapanese.

You know you're a Wapanese if you have a crush on an anime
Or you use those little suffixes like "-chan" and "-sama".

The kimono and liking Jappernaize music and anime/manga/Japanese
fashion probably doesn't make you Japanese.

But i your screen name is "Kawaii Kitty Chan" and your profile is done
all up with pictures of [Insert popular Anime Char], [Insert Popular
Japanese Band], and has a million pictures of random Loligoth/Harajuku
models, you're probably Wapanese.

7. I even sometimes say "Chan" and stuff. (rarely, but still..) -
only for nicknames

agree or disagree...
9. I listen to some japanese music. - everyone who doesn't because
they're afraid of being wapanese is a dork.

there's wapanese, and then there's the extreme.
you would only be wapanese if you thought that you were.
(although deleting the words "kawaii", "sugio" and "neko" from your
vocabulary would give you + points).

Pffft, I'm inlove with an anime character. >:l
But i'm not wapanese.
You're wapanese when you try to become japanese just because you watch
a ton of anime. :/
