3:20 pm. Manuel Hernandez was walking home from school. He was in a good mood today.
He had no homework and it was a beautiful day. Suddenly he tripped over something and
fell down. Manuel stood up and saw on the ground a beautiful silver ring right by his
feet. Instinctively, he picked up the ring and tried it on. It was a perfect fit.
Manuel continued to walk home. 
	Manuel’s house is about a ten minute walk from school. When he reached home, he
saw his dad with an apron cooking dinner. “Hello son. How was your day?” Manuel
looked back at his dad. “Pretty good.” What’s for dinner?” “Flamingo
burgers!” Manuel’s dad said with enthusiasm. “Oh that’s cool, thanks dad.”
Manuel took a flamingo and went up to his room to do his homework. After he was done
with his homework, he watched wrestling on TV. Then Manuel went to bed. 
	The next morning, Manuel got ready for school and left his house at about 7:45 am.
With no breakfast. During his walk he caught up with Stacy, a girl in his Biology
class. “Hey Stacy.” Manuel said. Stacy turned around and had a huge smile on her
face. “Hello Manuel.” Stacy said in a flirtatious voice. She then stopped Manuel
and gave him a hug. This scared Manuel. Every morning Manuel says hi to Stacy
because they always take the same route to school, but Stacy is very self centered
and never talks to Manuel. 
	When Manuel reached school, Stacy gave him one last hug and skipped to class. But
things got a whole lot weirder when he got to his first hour class. “Sorry I’m
late Mr. Soup.” Manuel said rushing into the door. “HIIIIII MANUEL!” All the
girls said to Manuel as he sat in his desk. Manuel heard the girls and they were all
giggling. Manuel looked to his left and all the girls were looking at him. He tried
to ignore them. He also became very shy with all those girls staring at him. 
He started playing with the ring he found. He twisted the emerald that was on the
ring and the whole ring’s color changed from silver to black. He looked to the
left of him and all the girls were not paying attention to him anymore. He twisted
his ring to the right and the ring then turned gold. Then he heard giggling again
but when he looked to his left, all the guys in his class her winking at him and
smiling and giving him kissing faces. Even the teacher gave him flirtatious look.
Manuel twisted the ring to the left and it turned black. And just like the girls,
the guys stop giving signs, and acted like nothing happened. He turned it to the
left again and the ring turned silver. Suddenly all the girls in the room started
staring at him. Manuel had just found out that he could make people fall in love
with him by using the ring. Manuel was very bright. 
Manuel decided to use this ring to his advantage today. During lunch, Manuel got
many girls to feed him, do his homework, and during gym he got the gym teacher to
fall in love with him to sit all day in class instead of climbing the rope. After
gym, Manuel decided to take a break for himself and turn off the ring. Then, out of
no where, a man in a ski mask barged into the school laughing. “Today at this
school, will be these kids final day!” yelled the man in the ski mask.
The man in the ski mask stared at Manuel and aimed the gun at him. Manuel quickly
turned on his ring. Then the Man in the ski mask started to smile. “Wow, you’re
so beautiful!” Manuel started to back off. The man in the ski mask ran to Manuel
and grabbed his arm. “Forget this school! Let’s go back to my car and drive
somewhere and be alone! How does that sound?” asked the man in the ski mask.
“That sounds horrible.” Manuel said. 
Then suddenly, the principle came up from behind and knocked the man in the ski mask
across the back of his head. The man fell to the floor and became unconscious. “Are
you okay my darling Manuel?” asked the principle rubbing Manuel’s arm. “Ya,
I’m ok.” Manuel replied trying to pull away from the principle. “That’s good
sweet heart, why don’t you go home. You have had a long day.” said the principle.
Manuel agreed and started his walk back home. 
When Manuel reached home, he turned shut off his magical ring and went straight to
his room. Manuel went under his sheets and began to fall asleep. He closed his eyes
and started to smile “I could get use to this.”
