I wrote this poem back when I was in high school. I still, to this day, believe
that this is one of the greatest poems I've ever written.

End of the Line

She cut her pale skin
She saw the blood flow
She felt the cold air
From the winds blow

She saw no open door
Only the end of he line
They knew that she had
Suicide on her mind

She felt her pain
Was God even there?
As she let the tears drop
She felt her heart tear

Is this really the end?
Do we have to say goodbye?
I see your pain
I watch you suffer
As you walk to the end of the line

She sees no hope
No faith, no love
She feels God's touch
As soft as a dove

She feels alone
As she sits tonight
She prays in the dark
As she sees no light

She's at the end now
The bottom of the hole
She says goodbye now
And lets go of her soul

Is this really the end?
Do we have to say goodbye?
I see your pain
I watch you suffer
As you walk to the end of the line
