Mary's got a little lamb
Its fleece as white as snow;
And poor Bo-Peep has lost her sheep
Wherever did they go?
Well Mary is a sneaky girl
And contrary, you know that;
And Bo-Peep she fell asleep you know
The stupid, lazy bat.
Jack and Jill went up the hill
And Jack came tumbling down;
They found poor Jack flat on his back
With bruises on his crown.
Jill had long since gone by then
And changed her name to Jumping Joan
Off her head, since Jack was dead
So Joan was all alone.
And then there is a woman
And she lives in a shoe;
I don't know why, I will not lie
I haven't got a clue.
She's got one-and-twenty children
And they're all cooped up indoors
Some say it's cruel but they are fools
Everybody has their flaws.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
To watch the world go by
Perhaps he fell but I've heard tell
That that was all a lie.
Accidents can happen
But this was a dirty crime
Oh what a shame, to lay the blame
On a poor man in his prime.
Do you know the muffin man?
For he was who they blamed;
Career now dead, or so they said
The muffin man was framed.
The torment was too much to bear
The poor baker lost the plot
Oh far too young, they found him hung
Then quickly they forgot.
Ride a cockhorse to Banbury Cross
But be careful how you go
We're full of greed and wicked deeds
And I'm sure by now you know.
Come join us down in our mad world
Oh do stop by for tea
Nursery crimes and playtime rhymes
Will fill you up with glee.
