So, first of all, there's this huge druggie where I live. His name is Nate, and he's
only in grade 12, and he's been in shit with the law before. (That's not the "friend"
I'm talking about, btw.)
And he was friends with my friend (who I actually consider a cousin) Chris. And on
Thursday he wanted Chris to do him a favor by bringing rolled-up dimes to the store
and changing them.
So, Chris did it (because he's super nice).
And today, when I was on the bus, before it left the school parking lot, I noticed
that there were a bunch of cops around, and all of a sudden Chris walks out with his
girlfriend, and one of the cops just go up behind him and grab his bookbag off of his
back, and then they grab him and throw him up against the cop car. They check him,
and then they cuff him, and then they throw him into the back of the cop car. RIGHT
THERE IN THE SCHOOL PARKING LOT, IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. And Nate was all "I know what
it's about, but I ain't sayin' shit, and don't worry, he's gonna get off easy, just
don't tell anyone." WELL, BUDDY, I'M PRETTY SURE ALL OF LEWISPORTE KNOWS.
So, when I got home, I told my mom, 'cause she knows him really well, and she called
his grandmother, and it was all a ruckus.
And I was talking to him after, when he was released. Turns out the dimes he took
from Nate that were rolled up were actually pennies.
Bullshit, right? I can't believe he actually got arrested. And he was telling us what
a jail cell actually looks like. o__o
It was scary, and sad, because his girlfriend was just getting on the bus, crying her
eyes out. She didn't know what the fuck was going on.
And it was a surprise, too, because Chris is not that kind of guy. He's never been
into drugs, not much alcohol, he doesn't steal (that I know of).
So it was a scare. A big scare.
