What's worse? The anxiety I'm feeling for the compitition or not being able to

A mind in a state of turmoil. I'm not just an 'artist', however one defines it. I
practice in a sport. I do it for me. I do it for my mind. Recently, my mind is
screaming out for me to 'take it to the next level'. I believe I must compete with
it. It's strange how this feeling coincide with my desire to put more of my art into
art festivals.

Here's a minor concern... In order to compete, I must dedicate more time to improving
my skills. Winter is coming on, I can't practice in below freezing weather. My
equipment will fall apart.

Here's a major concern... I had a surge of emotions about the Summer Olympics in
Beijing. From what I can understand, I'm too late to file paper work in order to get
into the trials for the Olympic team. I'm somewhat frustrated about it. I can still
compete up to the actual Olympic trials. I can still compete in everything else
except the Olympic trials. At this point, even if I don't make it onto the Olympic
team, I can still exact my spoiler on all those who will be selected for the team. I
just show up, hit my high scores...hoping my high score scares off and show up some
of the better known competitors. I just want to show the world, and myself, that I'm
jsut as good as they are...that I deserve to be on the team even if i'm not.

Should I practice thru out all of winter...? How much of that will eat into my art

I needed to say this here. Why -here-? Because my friends are unsupportive

You're the coolest person I know.

You should do what you think will make your future.

Don't let anything pressure you.

I'm not sure what all of this means, ad the fact that you can even
THINK about getting into the Olympics shows you how good you actually

I don't know what to say, but I'll try to be here for you. *Hugs*

Are you happy living in the box you made for yourself, do you feel
My perspective:
I have achieved a great many things, I have an awesome resume, but my
box was getting small even though any person would be overly happy
with it, I walked away from it all to build a new box, I achived my
objectives, time for some new ones

You have made it to your age (Im guessing 32) in the blink of an eye
just like me, the next time we blink we may be dead, act now if it is
your will to do so, there is no such thing as too late, your will can
make it happen.
