These are little notes I found in books on the shelves of the secondhand bookstore
next to my dentist. I was waiting for an appointment. I assume there are many more
notes and scribbles, but I didn't really feel the need to search. I actually saw
some before I saw these, but I didn't think to write them down until I saw how many
there were.

"To Chris. Enjoy the love!" - found on the inside flap of Douglas Coupland's "Shampoo

"$227.50 x 2 = $445.00" (crossed out) "$227.50 x 2 = $455.00" - found on the back
flap ofJohn Grisham's "The Rainmaker."

"Bill Clinton" - found on a note, probably used as a bookmark, inside a copy of
"Windows For Dummies."

"Yes!!!" - found on the inside flap of J.D. Salinger's "Catcher In The Rye."

"Turn to page 58." - found on title page of Paul Auster's "New York Trilogy."

"Hi!" - found on page 58 of Paul Auster's "New York Trilogy."
