Merry Boo-Boo! Here's a scary Christmas story!
The Haunted Christmas
"Time for bed, Penny!" yelled a little girl's mother. "Okay! I can't wait for
Christmas! It's tomorrow!" screamed Penny. The 10 year old started to brush her teeth
when she saw a kunai knife thrown towards her. She ducked but nothing came. "That was
weird..." Penny said softly as she changed into her nightgown and snuggled into bed.
Penny always thought she was just some kind a normal, ordinary girl. But all that was
going to change in one night... Penny suddenly found herself in a deserted forest.
"What...? Maybe it's just a dream." said Penny. She suddenly found a girl walking
across the foest, looking frightened. Penny noticed something familiar about the
girl. It was her! "Thats... Me... But I'm right here... If I'm here, how can I be
there?" said Penny, starting to become frightened. "Get out of here... It's too
dangerous for you here..." said a voice. "What? Who's there?" asked Penny, looking
around. "I'm here." said the voice. Penny looked behind her and saw the same girl
that was walking around. "Let me explain myself. I'm your sad spirit." said the girl.
"My sad spirit? What do you mean?" asked Penny, still confused. "Everybody has a sad
spirit. It's the only emotion that's a spirit. It's kind of confusing. And all of us
live here, The Forest of Fear." said the girl. "A sad spirit... That is confusing.
But why is this place so dangerous?" said Penny. "Everybody's worst fears are here.
The only way for you to get out is to defeat your worst fear." replied Penny's sad
spirit. "But if I fear something, how can a defeat it?" asked Penny, starting
to become worried. "You have to overcome your fear. It's the only way." said Penny's
sad spirit, glumly. "Come'on. You'll need to eat something first." said Penny's sad
spirit and she dragged Penny to her house. "Here's my house." said Penny's sad
spirit. Penny looked around. There were dust bunnies eveywhere. Literally. The
bunnies hopped from table to table, trying to catch the mice who scurried across the
floor. "It's a bit dirty, but you can live, right?" asked Penny's sad spirit. "Yeah.
It will do." Penny replied. "It will do." Penny repeated.
(I'll finish the rest later!)
