I was thinking of doing a House of Night Club since I'm reading the book again. I
stopped reading the book after the sixth book I believe. They had this huge battle
with Kalona and then he flew off. Then I stopped reading because I started reading
better and less sexual books. There was sooooo much sex in the series. But I like the
idea. They are kinda cool vampyres. Its a cool idea and a cool spin off of vampyre
So basically, there are these trackers and they track possible vampyre recruits and
once they get marked, they have to leave their old life behind and enroll in House of
Night, a boarding school for vampyres with the idea of the fact you could die any day
because your body is rejecting the change. There are four years: Third Formers,
Fourth Formers, Fifth Formers, and Sixth Formers.
Third Formers: A Third Former is a vampyre fledgling, blue or red, that is in
their first year of schooling at a House of Night. The third former symbol is the
Labyrinth of Nyx symbolizing their start of the path of Nyx. Picture of symbol to

Fifth Formers: A Fifth Former is a vampyre fledgling, blue or red, that is in
their third year of schooling at a House of Night. The fifth former symbol is Nyx's
chariot capturing the stars in her wake symbolizing that the fledgling continuing on
Nyx's journey. The stars represent the magic of the two years that have already
passed. Picture of symbol to come.
Sixth Formers: A Sixth Former is a vampyre fledgling, blue or red, that is in their
fourth and last year of schooling at a House of Night. The sixth former symbol is the
silhouette of the Fates, the three daughters of Nyx and keepers of destiny and
Atropos holds up a scissors, symbolising the end of school, or for the unlucky ones,
the end of life. Picture of symbol to come.
One thing to know is that blue and red fledglings are different. Blue fledglings are
those that are on their way to becoming an adult vampyre. A red fledgling is one that
died during their change because their body rejected the change. From what Ive read
of the series, they don't really go to classes because they have less control of
themselves. Their not like blue fledglings who are like what they were like when they
By the way, all vampyres have tattoos. Adults have tattoos around their faces and I
think bodys as well while students have a noncolored in diamond on their forehead. As
they get older, that colors in and soon spreads out.
REJECTING THE CHANGE
The fledgling will start coughing uncontrollably. It will sound dry and painful in
the beginning, but then, when the fledgling starts coughing up their own blood, it
becomes a wet, horrible sounding cough. The fledgling will bleed from all obvious
orifices, until they bleed out. If someone is able to get to Neferet fast enough, she
may produce a liquid that will stop them from feeling all pain during the rejection.
Healers, such as Neferet, may be able to take some of the pain away during the
process. There is no way to save the fledgling once the rejection starts. The
fledgling must die.
