A faint whisper called through his dreaming, and the boy smiled a bloody smile at his
tormentor. "Sorry Al, I'm being summoned!" The demon grinned back, but in his raw
form, it was a half-lipped grimace of fangs.
"See ya tomorow, Gary...!"
"Gareth... wake up, Gareth..."
The voice seemed to draw him physically out of his dreams, and with more soft
murmurs, he broke the surface....
Met with a hypodermic needle.
"Oh jeez... And a good morning to you too..."
Lynette laughed, her smile, as always, towing the sun into the dreary hospital, "It's

Lyn gave his hand a gentle squeeze- He hadn't even noticed she was holding it, was it

cruel of him? Falling for a girl now? Sure, he'd liked girls before now, and he'd
known that they'd be together a week at most before he moved on. Other ghosts to
kill. Bigger demons to exorcise...
Besides. Lyn was different. He'd told her who he was. Who he really was, not the
mechanic that everyone thought they knew. And what's more, she didn't run off.
She'd actually /believed/ him.
Without saying anything, Gareth lifted his hand to tilt her face, faintly brushing
their lips together on a spur.
