Even on the worst of school days, Kyudo could normally keep his cool. He believed
that there were only three things that could faze him; But only slightly.
A bucket of water prank from above? No problem. Wipe it off and move on. It'd dry off
eventually, and the nonchalance would make the perpetrators seem childish. Besides,
his dark green hair looked great when it was wet. Chicks already loved it when his
long hair was kept in a ponytail; When he had a good excuse to let it scatter around
his shoulders, they went wild with adoration.
Fail a test? Meh. Life was always testing him. Besides Kyoko (and the slight twinge
of guilt when thinking about how she would react to the typical news), no one could
care less. Sure, he was never cozy with teachers, but what did it matter to him? He
already knew what his dream career was going to be, and it certainly wasn't anywhere
An unexpected breakup? Now that was a little hard to take, but no worries. After all,
he had two or three spare girlfriends when he had the time to be fooling around. Even
while doing weird errands for a stupid shopkeeper, he could usually pick up a new
lover in the brief hours he spent in this city or that; It make no difference where
the deliveries took him.
If those were his only agonies, then life was pretty much a breeze.
Unfortunately for him, the universe tends to enjoy screwing with an easygoing life
every now and then. Namely, his.
While many bizarre and depressing incidents of his life have been far out of his
control, the plain facts of his current situation, cornered in an abandoned factory
by seven identical Hollows that were several times larger than he would ever grow to
be, 2 in the morning on a school day, was entirely his own fault.
