Joe or Rage Against The Machine? I think Joe McElderry deserved to be number 1 on the UK top charts. Not Rage Against The Machine. I mean, Joe worked his butt off the whold way through in the xFactor! RATM just come on and throw in a song! - KILLING IN THE NAME. IT'S NOT EVEN A SONG. IT'S JUST MUSIC. YOU CAN'T EVEN SING ALONG TO IT!!! D8< JOE'S SONG - THE CLIMB - YOU CAN AT LEAST SING ALONG TO! He worked so hard! ;-; Poor Joe. I feel so sorry for him. Every year, for 4 years, the xFactor winner had the number 1 DX

I think you're lacking the main point here.
Even if the other people do, JOE STILL SUCKS.

The chances of someone in the XFactor actually having a singing career
after it is slim.
The only Xfactor who won and made it is Leona.
Alexandra's just living in her shadow.

If he did get number one, it wouldn't matter. You'd still never hear
of him again.

I thought Joe was good. ._.

Sad thing is,
there's plenty of songs that could be competing against Joe.
Not some crappy song from 1993.
‹WeaponFace♥› says:   20 December 2009   195487
I dun get it.
Who's side you on?
RATM or Joe?
‹(Y)› says:   20 December 2009   281302
but more on Joes.
Because he's actually got a modern song.
That doesn't make me want to bang my head on wood quite as much as

/ highfive.

Did you watch the whole xFactor?
‹(Y)› says:   20 December 2009   107536
and although I did want Olly to win,
Joe was alright.
‹WeaponFace♥› says:   20 December 2009   704820
Yeah, I wanted Olly to win, too.
But, I did like Joe the whole way through, too.
Himawari says:   20 December 2009   946040
Personally, I wanted Olly to win, but I can't do anything now.
You do have a point. Joe did work really hard the past year or
whatever for this, but it isn't about how hard they work. It's about
how much people like the song.
I mean, people are buying RATM's song because they don't want Joe to
win, but
a) Why are they buying it just because they dislike Joe, and
b) Why haven't they "disliked" the previous 6 X Factor winners like
they dislike Joe?
It doesn't make any sense, If you don't like the song, don't buy it.
If you do, then do.
It's ridiculous buying the RATM CD just because you don't like Joe.
It's not about the person who sings it, it's about THE SONG ITSELF~

I think Joe deserves his number one though,
he has gone through a lot to get it.
‹WeaponFace♥› says:   20 December 2009   410864
I know. ._.
It's a shame. DX

He worked hard.
Like all the other winners.
Why hate him?
‹(Y)› says:   20 December 2009   427141
and plus,
The Climb is a million times better than Killing In The Name,
which sounds like a man screaming while he uses a chainsaw to cut down
a tree.
‹BecauseTheSunRises♥› says:   20 December 2009   951130
I wasn't the biggest fan of Joe but after about 3 months of hard work
he did deserve that number one. You were even kind to the Rage Against
The Machine, I respect the fact that there giving the money to charity
and all that but what they call music is just NOISE. I don't want to
be listening to heavy rock at christmas time, lol. But there is
nothing we can do.

I Know.
I don't like Rage Against The Machine.
All the music is just too loud and rocky. DX

Poor Joe. ;-;
He worked hard. D8<

I know!

Olly should have won, but his voting line crashed for some time.

Joe is just a cheesy karaoke pop singer if you ask me.
Olly has the X Factor.

But even if he did win, like Katie said, the chances are slim that
he's be remembered.
‹WeaponFace♥› says:   20 December 2009   912644

Joe was good, though. ;-;
Better than RATM, if you ask me.

I'll remember him. ;w;
I remember alot of people. xP
‹ruthie .› says:   20 December 2009   645377
it really is nothing to do with how good joe is or how good rage
against the machine are in comparison, it's a protest against the
domination of manufactured pop in the charts and the x-factor defines
manufactured pop.

for most people it's really not an attack on Joe, and he'll survive,
anyway. if he's good enough.
‹{Viva}♥La♥{Vida}› says:   20 December 2009   612704

Yeah. Partly the reason why he lost.

Joe has a good voice, but that song made him sound like a cheesy
Geordie suck up.
‹WeaponFace♥› says:   20 December 2009   673414
It's not Joe's fault that he sang that.
It's the wee dude's that decide the Winter Song for that year.

Hmm. Yeah. Your right. ._.
VanillaFrosting says:   20 December 2009   931383
I like RATM.
I wanted them to win.
What I'd really like though, is a proper Christmassy song for
Christmas. I don't think the X Factor produces any genuine talent;
it's just a huge money-making vehicle for Simon Cowell.
Joe'll probably go to number one next week, so why make him the
Christmas number one too?
‹WeaponFace♥› says:   20 December 2009   204200
Btw, RATM weren't in XFactor.
True about the XMas Song. ._.
Dave12H says:   21 December 2009   596626
Haha. good joke.
Lol not really...hes won a glorified karoke gameshow, and covered a
pathetic song, not as hard as actually creating a song yourself lol.

'The Climb' is a shite song as well, engineered toward 11-16 year old
girls to like. lulz.
Anyways thought this was hilarious....RATM are my favourite band so of
course i wanted them to 'win' stops the pathetic monopoly of x factor
crimbo no. 1s
‹The Jesus of Suburbia› says:   23 December 2009   591237
You've got to remember ( I'm gonna get some flak for this ) that all
of the people that make to the live final in the X Factor are all
glorified karaoke singers and the fack it's most probably rigged ( I'm
looking at you, twins.)

The only good singer was Jamie but he's too niche. Joe appeals to
11-16 year old girls.
‹WeaponFace♥› says:   23 December 2009   434978
Hmmm. :/

We've argued about this for days. ¬3¬
You know my opinion. -_-
I know yours, dude.
