A poem I was writing and decided not finish.Category: Poetry

Well, it hurts somewhere indeed.
I'm not sure why such a need
Has come up inside of me.
Its unlike what I used to be.
A fire in my heart
Has risen since my part
For a person by my side.
Someone I can confide.
But while I look so hard
For my missing diamond shard
I find no one out there
That I trust is kind and fair.
I hate to be dramatic
But all is anticlimatic.
Simplicity is all I am
But its not enough to get the gem
That's the person that I long.
The one without; i feel so wrong.

This poem is interesting, but I think it lacks flow.
Perhaps a little work on your word choice?
 But overall good job.
