world war 1 i hope you all like it is just something i wrote to past the time
War
There can only be one winner
But yet there is loss on both sides
A angry army of twisted hopes and believes
A dream turned into a nightmare
Friendships smashed and loved ones lost
Nothing to again but a lot to lose
Lives on the line for there countries
Leaving there lives to fight for nothing
To see friends get hurt and killed
A recurring nightmare
That’s never suppose to end
A shot of a gun
One but that’s all it took
It’s all over in seconds
A young life wasted
On meaning less fights
A country proud
A mother destroyed
Family broken
A life that’s ended
Happiness smothered in despair
No where to run
No where to hide just
A hole to protect you.
