Brother: Mom, I got a ninety on my French test!
Mom: Oh, good, let me see!
Me: Mom, I got a ninety overall in French.
Mom: Oh, so you let Haley beat you?
Which leads to me having a complex that results in this situation:
Brother: Apparently I'm gifted in math. Dr. Sheldon Cooper at you service.
Dad: *General happiness and congratulations*
Me: Yeah well, I'm gifted in everything but math, although I still
kick ass in that, too. Plus, you don't even get good grades in math. How the hell
are you gifted?
Dad: THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU.
No, sorry, it's not. Nothing ever is. Shouldn't I have learned my lesson by now?
