You are wandering in the dark forests of Konoha. No one is near, not even your own
mind. Your soul seems to be off in the distance as your empty body walks the forest,
friendless. You see a shadow move. You think you see your ex-best-friend Ino in the
darkness. Ever since you started liking Shikamaru, she had become a big jerk. Was she
here to haunt you or was she here to apologize? You knew it was neither. You knew it
couldn't be her, for the shadow had four pigtails, and all four reminded you of
Shikamaru. The shadow came closer, a huge object on its back. "Hello?" you whispered
into the darkness.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" the voice asked in an angry tone. The
shadow pulled out the object that was on its back and you realized it was Temari. One
of those sand ninja that always came to your village. She emerged from the shadows
and you saw that she was surprised to see you. "Ah, its you," she said. "What was
your name again?" she asked.
"Shinju," you replied smiling slightly. You remembered her. She was always hanging
around Shikamaru when she could. It was so obvious that she liked him even though she
never talked to you and the other girls about him. She always looked troubled when
you talked about him to everyone. This thought made you laugh.
"What is so funny, Shinju?" she asked you quietly staring at your jacket. "Are you a
Hyuuga?" she asked pointing at your jacket. Of course, you expected this, for all
Hyuuga and almost no other people wear a jacket like this one, but you did.
"No, I'm not a Hyuuga," you answered calmly. Then you thought to yourself, 'I'm the
Akatsuki Leader, now that all the others died...' but you didn't say that out loud.
You didn't want to scare everyone here with your position. Even though you hated
killing people, sometimes it had to be done. You were the only Akatsuki that wanted
peace in the world, and you might be the only one forever that did. You joined the
Akatsuki from a strange bloodline pass-down. You were distantly related to Hidan of
the previous Akatsuki.
You never understood this theory. How did they know this if no one knew much about
him? Why did you not do more things like him if you were from his bloodline? You
hated killing and you hated that stupid religion your parents made you do before you
You suddenly felt a sharp pain in your body. It hurt so bad. This is the feeling you
got when you knew someone you cared about was in danger or felt pain. Just like when
your father died. That was before you left the village. You had loved him so much you
ran away when he died. Then it was discovered you were Hidan's great niece.
"Temari," you said quietly. "I can sense it... Shikamaru is in pain!" you gasped as
you looked at her in distress.
