I've really gotten into Doctor Who in the last few days. I've watched the show since
it started up again (with Christopher Eccleston) with a minor break during the second
series (I didn't like David Tennant that much then) but now I'm back into the show
full time and...I've slowly become a little obsessive....

Anyway, I just want to say I love Doctor Who and yes, for the record, the Ninth
Doctor is my Doctor!!! No shame in that! (Although I had seen 'The Greatest
Show in the Universe' months prior to the start of the 'revival' and loved it...the
odd episode of classic Who doesn't count though, right? Meh.)

I'll probably start reviewing episode from now on; I have the time. It is a bit late
as the current series has three episodes left but oh well, I'll review older eps once
I lay my hands on some DVDs.

One more thing: Martha Jones is a better assistant/companion
than Rose Tyler hands down! Face it, Martha rocks, Rose cries
in a lonely part of a different dimention isn't that great if you think about

Have to agree with you on Martha being a better assistant than Rose.
I tihnk Classic Who counts, but seeing as the guy who writes the
series now appears to have forgotten about it, I don't tihnk it should
matter too much. The greatest show in the universe? Seventh Doctor,
right? He probably had the best assistant of all time.

That's it! I couldn't remember which Doctor the show was from, except
that the companion was Ace. I really did like Ace, even though I only
saw the one program. I'll have to go back and watch some Classic Who
as soon as I can afford the dvds.

Ace was definitely the best companion. And the only one to ever
create a time storm in her bedroom, if I'm right. Besides, carrying
explosives around in your backpack is the best idea ever.

It is definetly a good idea; or at least it is if you expect to
encounter Daleks on a regular basis. You're right about the time storm
too. She was also the only character to destroy her foes with a
baseball bat!
Sylvester McCoy was an underrated Doctor as well. He was strange in
the best sense of the word.
