Many of you don't get what im about to talk about. but that's okay, it gives you
something to research when you are bored at school.

Atari was THE game system to have back in the 80's. its 8 bit graphics were amazing
at the time hypnotizing anyone with a controller. in my opinion it would have been i
lovely time to be a child, growing up with the atari, staying up really late
listening to the beeping sounds it emitted. sadly though the atari was on of many
that suffered from the video game crash of 86 (*see below) after that atari retired
from console making and starting just making games for other counsels such as the
sega dream cast, the snes, and the fresh new playstion that was on its way in the
90's.

now that you have a little back information let us begin.

Xbox 360 playstaion 3 and the wii, all extraordinary gaming consoles the graphics are
good and the gaming controls are easy. but what ever happened to you're old counsels?
gamecube, playstaion 2- starike that playstaion ONE and xbox?
going back farther, snes, dream cast, and ATARI??

Most kids from my era are such counsel whores, loving one counsel and then, when i
new more expensive and better sytem comes out they just dump the old one into their
closet! one kid i know from grade school brought only 2 games for game cube and then
dumped it for a wii, seems pretty selfish right?
maybe being poor has helped me understand to cherish my snes's games rather than
playing it just to beat it. same with my game cube.

sure the graphics are good on the newest game counsels but that's the thing, 8bit,
and 16 bit graphics forced me to use my imagination, unlike the newer games such and
super Mario galaxy Pokemon soul silver and halo odst.

steping onto nes, theres a movie called the wizard and it showes how much everyone
cared about beating those games, everyone liked them, everyone knew them and everyone
played them. now the internet is up no one really needs nitendo power, or the help
hotline. makeing most everyone exsept kids walk away from gameing.

in conclusion give a little love to your old systems ppl. just because there's a new
one out, it doesn't make it any better than the older ones.

just answer me this, when PlayStation 4, the wii2 and xbox 950 storm (whatever) come
out, will you think the gaming system you love right now become junk?
