Stuck Here, Stranded, In This Place Most Call Home. Pleading For Innocence, Judging Takes Place. Jury Says Guilty. I Cry For One More Try. Judge's Got No Soul. Guessin' I Don't Either. Shoved On A Box Beat With A Cleaver Marked "Punishment." Lady Looks A Lot Like Me. Says Her Name Is Self. Lady Looks Too Much Like Me. Blood Stained Sheets, Darkened Dreams, And Tear Soaked Cheeks, Become My Life For A Week. "Ain't Done Nothin'!" I Scream. Self Looks At Me, Holding Punishment Tenderly. Lady Looks Too Much Like Me. Up On The Stand Again. Judge Says "Murder!" I ask "Who?" Judge Points At A Little Girl. Girl Looks Like I Used To. Say's Her Name Is Innocence. Girls Looks Too Much Like I Used To. I Scream, "Mr. Society Did It!" Judge Laughs. Sent Back To The Box. The Box With The Lady. The Lady Named Self, With The Cleaver Marked Punishment, And An Image Of Innocence Cowering In The Corner Of My Mind. Society's The Next Victim. Society's Next. Note: This poem uses lots of symbolism. And I don't think I'm graaand at using it in this way. Judge Meh. xD
