Art Critiques (oekaki, etc)Category: Wonderment

I've gotta wonder if when people post their art and whatnot, if they're looking to improve at all, or if they just want people to comment and tell them that they are an amazing artist. That's all well and good since everyone likes to be praised for the accomplishments--though some seem more like accomplishments than others--but if they never want constructive criticisms, then how do they expect to improve? I know that people can improve without being critiques but getting another person's point of view on something you have done can help see things that you may not have otherwise noticed. The same can be applied when learning a different language. While a certain way you're saying something might still work, someone could point out a way to make your speech more smooth and native-sounding.
