I wanted the seas as mine before,
I wanted the earth, and all of its shine.
I wanted the stars and the sun and the moon
I wanted this, all this, to be mine.
I climbed to the top of the highest mountain,
I soared across the northern seas.
I built my castle, big and strong,
To come and go just as I please.
The heart of silver- not of gold,
the rage of kindness-not of hate.
the smile of compassion-not of spite
joined together to seal my fate.
My brother, Death, and sister, Love,
my mother, Memory, and Father, Remorse.
The scythe, the bow, the mind, the tear,
the smell of hay, and the pale white horse.
the taste of revenge trickles down my throat,
the clandestine vendetta, the blood in the grass.
my hopes, my dreams, my plans, my spite,
shatters now-like broken glass.
