Well It Seems Kirti And Sam Have Mistaken This For A Girl Meets And Falls In Love
With A Vampire Book. It's Completely The Opposite Of That. That Was Just My
Character's Opening Sentence. And Actually This Book Is Being Written In Second
Person Form. (Or Is It Third, Derr)

Melanne Wescott, or as she likes to say it, Melanne Butterscotch has led a
complicated life in the small town of Fort St. James of British Columbia. Her
mother's grandparent's both died when her mother was twenty and then her mother died
when she was twenty nine, leaving her husband, Noah Wescott to raise little Melanne
all alone.
As the summer begins it seems Melanne's is off to a rough start as she sits at the
bus stop watching everyone leave town to go off on some big summer adventure perhaps
filled with an unknown summer romance. A last she's stuck at home baby sitting the
house as her father goes on a fishing convention for three months. But that's all it
seems like at the beginning, a boring summer until Liam Matthews walks into her life
when he accidentally barges into her house on the beach's shore on a Friday night.
Time seems to move fast for the two as they go from friends, to lovers to being split
up. You see Liam's on temporary leave from his post in the army as a officer and only
has till the end of august with Melanne. But despite this fact they vow to love one
another until they come together again and can be together forever. But Melanne's
secret could prevent this. You see Melanne has this incurable disease called
Spinocerebellar Afaxia. A disease that slowly disables you until you can no longer
walk, talk or even write. As the months go by where she and Liam are apart she starts
to loose confidence that by the time he comes back for her she'll be dead. So she
starts to move on with her life, hoping to leave her father with at least another
family when she's gone.
At the midway point to her and Liam being together once again Melanne starts seeing
someone and loosing her mobility, and Liam makes a surprise visit. Learning of her
serious condition that can't be cured Liam begs Melanne to wait for him until he can
get out of the military and be with her forever, thus he proposes to her. But upon
rejecting him Liam is heartbroken and goes back to the military a lonely man without
a love, hope or letters. What's in store for these two, well you'd just have to read
to find that out.

Info on the disease:

The Sad Truth About This Real Disease Is That It Cannot Be Cured. As This Person So

Second-person? Nobody really uses that type of writing. It's usually
first-person or third-person.
