It was actually the Romans who invented the first flushing toilet, it based on having
a river and placing the toilet house in a certain place so they could dig out tunnels
so that the river would flow through the tunnels and flush the faeces away. However,
it was actually Thomas Crapper who invented the toilet as we know it today.
Some sheep in Wales are radioactive because in 1986 there was an accident at some
nuclear plant in what is now the Ukraine today - this then meant that large amounts
of radioactive stuff was released into the atmosphere. This was then blown across to
the UK and was deposited in some upland areas in the UK (mainly Wales) where sheep
farming is carried out. This then passed into the soil, which passed into the grass -
sheep ate grass and became radioactive.
