My problem with "emos" and other labels.Category: (general)

I am absolutely tired of people feeling the need to classify themselves as an
offensive, derogatory label. 
Stop doing this. It makes me lose faith in the world.

Specifically, (for now) "emo people" parade themselves around and worship the word,
use it like it's the essence of their being. They are self-proclaimed,
self-classified, unoriginal cookie-cutter people because they put themselves in a
Do you really want to show the world? Do you want to prove to them you're unique?
Then don't submit to a label. 
I would be mortified to call myself or anyone else by a word so generic,
encompassing, as the ones I see people call THEMSELVES.

People, please. Be something no one else is. Stand out like YOU are. Every single one
of you is different.

Mind you this applies to ALL labels. Regain your individuality and break free of that
mold, for god's sake.
