Fffff, my 4 nephews and neice are driving me crazy. God, if they're not fighting they're whining and if they're not whining they're complaining. Nephew's ages: 4, 6, 10, 12 Neice's age: 8 I love them but these past few days 8 and 10's been whining and complaining that I get 'special treatment' just because I'm the aunt and older than them. Then they want to say they never get to do anything or go anywhere fun and they want to go home. 4 and 6 are well, technically how most 4 and 6 year old's act but ugh Dx They cause a commotion and make a scene into almost every store we go to. And 8 is on so many levels of obnoxious that I can't believe it. I don't know what's worse, her ungrateful attitude or the inability to shut up. I do get some help from 12 though :c thankfully he's actually a bit mature but the others are just unbelievable. I know they're just little kids and my stepmom and older sister's stressed out too, :c but these past few days are actually making me homesick. I miss having to deal with only one my little brother and older sister and not having 2 kids whispering behind my back on how unfair I am and another 2 running around and crying about their punishment.

Have you tried talking to their mother, asking for effective ways
towards taming them? Like, if they behave they'll get some candy or
they can go somewhere fun where they'd like? But they first have to
listen to you? (: x

Yeah, D: she said I get permission to beat them.
I've tried, and they really don't listen. Or they behave for a good 5
minutes then go back to their usual selves.
They've been going to a ton of fun places and all they do is act up or
act like we never do anything for them.
;-; Most of the time they really don't.

Explain to them that you want to be treated the same way they want to
be treated, otherwise you will ignore them. Kids have a high attention
span, meaning if they don't get enough attention they will eventually
get tired of trying to grab it.
