Gosh, those poor researchers! I would not want to be the one who got these
results. Congrats to them for having the courage to relase their findings anyway.
For those who didn't read the entire thing, the two main researchers were qouted
stressing that their findings were only on averages, and they didn't beleive anyone
should assume anything about an idivigual based on their group.
For those who didn't/ couldn't open the link at all, it's an artical summerizing the
findings (and evidence for the findings) of an extensive research project to
learn about differneces in average IQ scores based on race.
East Asians, no matter where or how they are raised, have higher IQ's than caucasians
or African Americans/ Africans. People of African decent are able to sit up, crawl,
walk, and dress themselves at an earlier age than the other groups, but the average
IQ is lower than the other two groups.
I'm kinda depressed, because I'm not an East Asian, and don't want to be part of a
ethnicity that isn't very bright...
Andre is african american and he's smart as heck, and Anna is one of the most lovable
fools I have the pleasure of being freinds with, but she lived in China until she was
three, so I know that the researchers are right about the fact that indiviguals
can't be generalized by race, but I still find this to be very interesting.
Anyway, I feel racist for just posting this. I can't imagine the courage it must have
taken for Rushton and Jensen to publish this.
