The pros and cons of not being "out" to your familyCategory: (general)

Okay, so my dad is kind of a homophobe. For this reason, I haven't told him that
I am bi. That would just be awkward. I also haven't told my mom, because I just don't
care to. And my brother doesn't know because well... he's always glad that I'm the
straight one of the fam xD.
---Why is this good?
1. I can have a girl alone behind closed doors!
2. Awkwardness between the family and I = none
3. You can have sleepovers with no questions XP

---Why is this not so good?
1. It means your family doesn't know you as well as maybe they should
2. You get more paranoid that they'll find out
3. The stress of having to tell them at some point gets overwhelming

Just thought I'd share lol
Do you agree?

eh..let them figure it out someday if you bring home a woman who is
important to you..otherwise the rest of the time if you bring someone
home it will be a it doesnt matter really> after all much
further down the road you could end up partnering or marrying a
guy..then it really wouldnt matter..
