Mother, Familial-Carey-Shappern, lay in her four poster, puffy quilted bed and
snoozed, while in terrible pain, as she was severely ill, with pain in the back,
cold, and blue face and feet. She looked terribly scary, but i felt sorry for Mother,
since, Doctor Phillipe had to take an a day to get to our large manor, Harbern Manor,
which stood high on Old Pergunt Hill, survived for hundreds of years. John and I,
house elves and The 3 Witches, helped Mother in every-way. We brang her warm, grass
soup, her favourite and crushed egg shell milkshake, good for the bones. Her poor,
icy blue face hadn't changed colour, no matter what food, drink we gave her. The
cold, scary look lay on her frozen face, even though deep inside Mother has a warm
beloved heart. Her feet were deep blue underneath her thick, pink, woolen socks, and
slippy slippers. She lay in her best nightie with silk lace tying and real woolen
hem. Also, her favourite gown hung on the hook by her white pine wood door. She lay,
still, seeing the covers slowly moving up and down, as Mother breathed slowly and her
heart beating rapidly. I sat by her bedside every night and day, watching as she got
ill and ill, and i couldn't do nothing could i? I held her cold blooded hand and
prayed she would be alright.

I fell asleep at 2.00pm and woke with a jump as a loud DONGGGG ran through the 20
roomed manor, Mother still lay asleep and alive. I quickly ran downstairs thumping
the floorboards with my size 5 feet. When i finally got down the stair well, John was
already answering the door, to a familiar man, Doctor Phillipe. He apologized ever so
much that i got a bit dizzy, and he quickly whipped of his woolen and leather lining
cloak and ran as quick as a tornado up the wooden, carpet coated stairs. Me and John
followed him, and as he rushed into the room, where Mother lay asleep, i heard a loud
cry... He gasped as he saw the state poor Mother was in at that moment, Forever in
pain and ill as life could depend on it. Doctor Phillipe whipped out his thermometer
and checked mothers temperature, Low, I cried as i fretted about how Mother was.
Phillipe said that Mother had a deadly disease found in every humans body, but is
deadly to any non-human such as yourselves, Wizards. " I'm so sorry, but I'm afraid,
your Mother will have to have immediate surgery, to get it out of her weak body, by a
suction machine, that will suck the bad blood out of your mother, the blueness from
her face and feet will disappear and she will be happy and lively again. This will be
no cost as it is very rare and we do not have to pay for the costs. I will take her
with me now, on a stretcher in my Ambulance van. I'm so sorry about your Mother, but
if we get there by tomorrow, midnight, she will be perfectly safe" I cried as i heard
of the news about Mother and me and John hugged vigorously. I waved mother off as
they set off straight away, even though she couldn't see me. I lay awake every night
until on Sunday morning.

Sunday Morning, i heard a loud fast knock on the door, I rushed to the door and saw
Mothers pale pink face, smiling and looking through the glass, I yanked the door open
in a flash and leaped on Mother, crying with happiness as Mother hugged back. John
hugged all of us. Mother bought me a present back, for looking after her so much. It
was called Handy Handrew, which apparently was very Handy when it came to you being
stuck, ill, in a emergency. I love Handrew, he helped me throughout all my life, and
never needed batteries, He had such a personality, he helped my pick up objects, he
played with me, it was especially fun when we did cooking together. We did many other
fun things and Mother stayed healthy for ages from then on, John and Me enjoy life
with Mother now.
