I don't know your name,
and you probably don't know mine.
I don't know you all that well,
because I've only lived for quite a while.
But I do know that you saved my life,
and all the other lives that was beyond your time.
So as I try to make my words come out right,
I want to thank you for giving up your life.
And I don't want this to take too long,
I'm writing this as I try to be strong.
And as I remember those others who fought,
just as we were taught.
I cry in despair because I don't personally remember.
all those that we were honoring on November.
Because, I didn't really know and understand,
why all those soldiers saved our home and our land.
But then I realized that it didn't matter,
that I all I had to do was try to remember.
Because to us, you pledged to give.
For us, you gave your right to live.
and that's what made me honor you.
just to know that you fought so true.
And so I don't know your name,
and you don't know mine.
But I give you my respect and thanks,
because you gave your life and grace.
