Haha. I'm gonna finish up my previous entry now...
Well, I have a massive love-hate relationship with band camp.
One the one hand, I've nearly collapsed sobbing on like, six occasions, but on the
other hand, rehersing with the full band is such a rush! Performing to live music is
I'm part of the color guard, so I get to throw around six foot flags and plastic
rifles. No saber yet, but I'm patient. >:]
The choreographer. 0.o The guy who decides what we do in the show is a fat,
middle-aged, homo man.
Yeah it's wierd. But apparently he used to be really mean in the past years (not that
he's strawberries and cream now, if you get my drift) but jeez.
So here's the freshman, banging herself on the head with the flag or rifle, and
everyone telling her she's picking things up really well right after she nearly
breaks her glasses. -_-
This is why, next year, I'm dropping band entirely (much to my chagrin, the higher
level concert bands require marhcing band) and focusing on dance.
Yeah, I've done a lot of thinking about school and things recently, and I've come to
another big conclusion.
I'm not going to apply to TJ.
But this is what I've chosen. If I want to be in the higher level dance classes at my
studio, I have to free up my schedule to perform at any time. And having to work by
butt of at school won't fit into that.
Again, I'm sorry everyone I know at TJ whom I promised I'd see sophmore year, but
that's how it is.
That said, I expect you all to be at my dance recitals. XD
Mmmm... That's all for now.
