wish I knew back in the past,

That that one day would be our last.

You seemed so happy, so serene

But now I see you in my dreams.

Their words were bullets, load the gun,

But all it ever took was one.

You stood in silence, in surrender,

To bear the brunt of all their laughter.

Their words were daggers,

     Pierced your heart.

They broke you down,

     pulled you apart.

How could you seem so unafraid?

Attempts at help were never made.

And now I stand here all alone,

Oh God, if only I had known.

I want to help

I'm here to aid

Just tell your friends

If you're afraid.

Cuz no one gets a second chance,

This horror is for real.

Depression is an evil thing,

It even hurts to feel.

So lend a hand

And talk it out.

Before that sand,

Drops through the spout.

You think the blood will stop the pain,

But reallly there's nothing to gain.

You hurt your friends, your family,

When you decide to no longer be.

     A victim.

But look around and then you'll see,

You're closest friends, your family.

They're there to help you, ever single one.

They are the happy, the light, the fun.

So don't you take that final breath,

And make yourself a friend of death.
