Jesse and I are either the strangest couple ever, or the most amazing.
I think it might be a combination.
Years from now, we will tell our kids that our first real date was to see the
re-release of The Lion King.
In my opinion, it's not a kids movie.
It is a very serious movie, with serious subjects and an amazing, positive message.
It just happens to be a cartoon.
It shows even the youngest kids that you can put the past behind you.
You can live a life of no worries.
Hakuna Matata, bitches.
You can be care-free, but you can take responsibility.
Don't blame yourself for the bad things that happen.
Never forget those who helped you become who you are.
Make a difference.
It was amazing.
I haven't seen it in over ten years, I forgot how awesome it was.
That's the beauty about Jesse, she never lets the child in me die, and never will.
We already have like 10 kids movies that we just have to see in the near future.
We went to Barnes and Noble, looked at random books, talked.
Went to steak n' Shake.
I had a pepperjack melt.
Holy balls it was delicious.
Came home, laid together, meditated.
Tried out a few spiritual things.
Researched a little online.
Ate some Ramen while watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. FTW
For our first real date, I think it was absolutely fantastic.
She said it was the best day of her life, and I agree.
The best day, so far.
It is only going to get better from here.
But anyway, if you haven't seen the Lion King, or haven't seen it in a while, then go
It is totally worth it.
And if you are just stressing out, can't relax.
