I'm stealing formatting from Kirti... again.
This is all new stuff that I've only started to like/dislike recently. I have a
really old version of this somewhere, if you're bothered to find it. Anyways,
some things that I have found myself liking recently are:
-JUSTIN MOTHER EFFING TRUDEAU. I LOVE YOU. PLEASE RUN FOR LEADER OF THE LIBERAL
PARTY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.
-Those days (I'd say they happen twice a week) when my eyelashes are as long, and
stay as long, as I like them to be, without looking clumpy. This is kind of shallow,
I know, but it's just one of those things that makes me really happy.
-Sitting next to my friend Nicole in French and being total losers who talk about
politics all day because we're French geniuses and already understand what's being
repeated for the fifteenth time.
Okay, we're not really French geniuses. We both just happen to have "an exceptional
aptitude for foreign languages and grasp of new grammatical concepts."
I also love it when we mark each other's homework and write, in massive, capital
letters, TRES BIEN!!! with a huge, doofy smiley face next to it.
-Counting down to exciting events. The countdown is often just as exciting as the
event itself. For example, it is currently 17 1/3 days until the grade ten field
trip to Ottawa. I'm so excited!
-When people around me are speaking Lebanese, Portuguese or Italian and I'm the only
one who doesn't understand what is being said. It happened to me a few days ago and
I literally yelled, hoping to convey my point, "WOW, AM I THE ONLY WHITE PERSON IN
THIS BATHROOM?" (Just for the record, these people speak English. It's actually
their first language- they just like to infuriate the people around them.)
Actually, that's all I can think of right now. I guess my life is in a pretty happy
phase at the moment.
