November is going to be quite important.
Now if any of you have exelent memories and stalker tendencies you may be saying
"Oh right, she does cross country. Bet she's excited for championships at the end of
or maybe you're saying
"Doesn't she have her first anniversary in November? That's sweet."
You might be thinking
"Yeah, Kirti probably has a job, or is going to focus on her grades."
Well my lovely non existant peanut gallery, I do have championships and anniversaries
to think about for November.
But I'm not ganna!
(Well, maybe the anniversary. That's kind of a big deal.)
That fantasy story that's been in the works since last June?
Originally I wasn't going to participat because I was five pages in already.
However, my sister has convinced me to just get rid of those five pages and start
again... For NaNoWriMo.
-fires sound guy-
Hem hem. I said "NaNoWriMo".
Dun dun duuuuuuuun!
For those of you who aren't framiliar, NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month.
In the month of November, you have thirty days to write fifty thousand words. My
sister appearently wanted me to do it just so that she could challenge me to a word
war- each day we're going to see who can get more words by midnight.
So I've been convinced to do NaNoWriMo. A decision I'll regret? I think so. (But I'm
going to it, by Gods.)
You can divide it out (might I recomend a calculator) and find that 50,000 by 30 is
1,666.66 which means every day I need to be writing about two thousand words each
It's okay though, because I know these characters and the setting backwards and
It's just the plot that'll give me trouble.
Oh, and er, writing it.
Any other NaNoWriMites on Kupika? What are you going to write about? How are you
planning it out? Any strategies besides word war to use?
Yay for pre-November freak out!
