12:00:02 PM (GMT)
Today I went with Grandma to meet with Aunt Mi-Ran and Cousin Joo to the Nangdamun
Market. We left at 1:00 pm. Apparently they wanted to go shopping with us. We looked
around for a while before Aunt Mi-Ran and Grandma got into an argument. It was
actually one-sided cause Grandma was doing all the yelling and Joo and I got hungry.
I wanted cold noodles but he wanted pizza. I didn't care so we decided to go in
search of pizza.
2 hours later.
Most of the time, we were just standing as Grandma was nagging Mi-Ran. Then Joo and I
got bored. And hungry. Very, very hungry. Grandma was angry because we couldn't find
pizza so that's why she was screaming. Aunt Mi-Ran has a tendency to wander off so we
followed her into a clothing store where she asked an employee there where the pizza
was. We dragged her out of there.
So Aunt Mi-Ran took the lead again (which probably wasn't the best idea since we
weren't even sure if she took her meds this morning). The order was this:
So Grandma was kinda slow so we were way in front of her. We went right bast Mr.
Pizza before I blinked, did a double-take, walked backwards and shouted, "THERE'S THE
PIZZA!" We all cheered. Except for Grandma of course.
So we were arguing over the menu as the waitress tapped her foot.
The spaghetti was delicious.
As we walked back out, we went in another district. Grandma was tired so we decided
to leave her behind as she rested near a fountain. We told her we would be back
Aunt Mi-Ran looked at Joo and I, smiled, and said, "Call me if you need anything!"
Then she turned around leaving both of us. I decided Aunt Mi-Ran hadn't taken her
meds. Joo lead the way and hopefully we wouldn't get lost.
It was sweltering hot. Wasn't there supposed to be an eclipse?
I was starting to get dizzy and Joo smiled. "Ice cream?"
"ICE CREAM!" I screamed back at him.
He chuckled and went right past the convenience store. Including the ice-cream
ice-box in front of it. I whimpered, and he only said, "Too expensive!"
I glared at his back as we went past several more ice-cream stands.
Then finally we stopped at a cheap ice-cream vendor thing where the ice cream only
cost 1.000 won to 1.500 won. The ice cream cooled me off and it melted.
We watched a bit as people spun a wheel to get prizes then we moved on.
We finally arrived back at the fountain where Aunt Mi-Ran and Grandma were waiting
for us. We went to the subway station because it was 7:00 pm and time to go home.
Grandma argued over which way to go. Then we finally went home.
We didn't buy anything.
