"So, you must be Lizzie's dad, then?"
Thomas gave the man a once over and nodded, "Yeah..... Why?"
"Francis is mine. They're friends I think."
"Just friends, aye?" Thomas frowned, looking at his daughter in the school
"Well, yeah... They're only six."
"Good." He grumbled, standing up, "Well, nice chattin', but I'd best get home. I've
got a meal ter put in t' microwave."
Francis's father waved as Thomas walked over to Elizabeth.
"C'mon, we're goin' home, kay?"
"DADDY!" The little girl grinned, running at him and jumping into his outstretched
arms. He smiled, planting a kiss on her cheek,
"Yeah! I was playin' with Francis!"
Thomas raised an eyebrow, looking at the little boy his daughter was waving at, and
turned around to carry her home, "Looks like a ruddy pansy...." He grumbled, "If 'e
ever gives ye 'assle, let me know."
Elizabeth giggled, hitting her father's head a few times, "Silly daddy, he's my
fwend... He helped me when Harry pushed me over!"
"Who pushed you over?! When?! Why didn' ye tell me?!"
"Harry... He's a meanie... Dat's him." She pointed a small finger at another boy
who was playing football with his own father.
"'E looks like a git-"
"Mummy said you weren't to use bad words in front of me..."
"Sorry Chicken... 'E doesn' look nice. Tell me t' instant 'e does anyt'in'. Ever."
Elizabeth nodded, kissing his cheek, "Wuv oo, daddy..."
No, I don't know where this came from either... I was just picturing Tommy as THE
MOST AWESOME DAD EVER and then this happens....
