My sister Jasmine (mewmewkitten) already wrote about this but yeah.
The other day we saw these people who live across the street beating a cat... AGAIN.
Seriously. This is the 2nd time. The first time someone stopped it and yelled at
them. This time though, it was a little kitten and this little boy, probably about
three years old, was dragging the poor kitten by his tail and kicking him and
slamming him into the cement and just plain beating him. He had two sisters, I
believe (both ugly enough to come straight off of Jerry Springer O_o) who were just
sitting there on their cell phones chattering away and WATCHING this kid beat this
cat. My mom told me there's nothing we can do about it, but I was just going to sit
by and watch this. The cat hid in the bushes and the girl picked him up by his neck
and handed him back to the little kid who started beating him again. I ran across the
street with Jasmine and took the kitten from the little boy (the kitten was hissing
and growling at him). The little boy wasn't old enough to know better, and when I
told him to be nice to the kitty, he started talking in baby jibberish and so I just
went back across the street to our house with the little kitten. One of the ghetto
girls got all mad and starting yelling, "Hey! Where are you going? That's OUR cat!
We're going to call the cops!". I said, "You guys were beating him. He's our cat
now." and though they kept yelling, you would think they would've gotten off their
butts if they really wanted their cat back. They said, "It's OURS! ... His name is
Dexter, by the way, don't give him rabies." Seriously. What kind of stupid thing to
say is that? Especially after they already CLEARLY gave him fleas. They were like "We
heard you guys have rabies" and stuff. Jasmine who isn't afraid of anyone started
yelling at them that they could go to jail and that you don't beat cats because it's
illegal. Still, those girls didn't get up. I ignored them and held the cat. Then my
mom came out and started yelling at them. They got all scared and started saying they
didn't speak English. Well neither do we, thanks for the cat bye! 8D She said that
they would go to jail for that, and if they wanted their cat back, then to go ahead
and call the cops.
Of course, they did nothing.
I took the kitten inside and fed him. He ate the bowl of cat food in like five
seconds. O_o Same with the water. He's really thin, you could see his ribs, and
whenever food is brought out he eats it so fast and growls if anyone comes near him.
I think they were starving him. =_=; He's so adorable too, he's pale orange and is
the cutest little kitten. It's beyond me how people can do things like that to little
animals like him. It makes me sick.
I want to try to get the webcam working so I can get a picture of him. He's so cute.
Also, I was doing some research about animal cruelty on this one site, and they have
cases around the world of animal cruelty. Some of them... ugh. People put fireworks
in KITTENS' mouths and lit them. I felt so sick after reading that, I wanted to throw
up. How could people do this? What is WRONG with them? People can't tell right from
wrong anymore. That, or they don't care. These are the kinds of people that make me
hate the world.
I'm sorry, but if you're someone who sees nothing wrong with blowing up helpless
living things with explosives, then you're not even human anymore. If you do
something like that, you're worthless in my eyes. Absolutely worthless.
The kitten's name is Garu, Jasmine picked the name.
