Chapter 2: 
                 A midday meeting through the eyes 
                                of Terrad



    Terrad walked into headquarters slowly, not really looking forward to what lay
inside. "So many people, so not in the mood..." In his hand he held a letter from
Barex asking him to join in an afternoon meeting involving everyone who was not a
captain. "Why do i have to be here?...I was going to go see Yami" He sighed, a long
mornful sigh then walked through the front doors. In front of him sat Katilix, the
first Leautenant of the Darkness squad with Chlainamos, her spirit boyfriend
Chapter 2: 
                 A midday meeting through the eyes 
                                of Terrad



    Terrad walked into headquarters slowly, not really looking forward to what lay
inside. "So many people, so not in the mood..." In his hand he held a letter from
Barex asking him to join in an afternoon meeting involving everyone who was not a
captain. "Why do i have to be here?...I was going to go see Yami" He sighed, a long
mornful sigh then walked through the front doors. In front of him sat Katilix, the
first Leautenant of the Darkness squad with Chlainamos, her spirit boyfriend
underneath her. A few feet away stood Kage, a loner who liked to stick to the
shadows, he was the second leautenant of the Darnkess squad. The the right of him
stood Silver and Sakura the first and second leautenants of the twilight squad, they
were talking excitedly about how cute Kage looked today. 
"Isnt he adorable?" Silver asked.
"Oh very much so! I love how he stands in the shadows!!" Sakura exlaimed
"He is so mysterious!" they said simoltaneously. Terrad twitched at their girliness
and turned to see asari standing nearby looking straight into the sun through the
window. 
"Um, should you be staring at the sun like that Asari? Your going to go blind!"
Terrad said Calmly. Asari simply turned to Terrad and looking at him questioningly
like she was doing nothing weird and turned to continue staring into the bright,
midday sun. 
'These people are nuts, why do i even live here?' Terrad thought to himself. He
turned to hallway at the end of the giant meeting hall and saw Yami walk by, she
looked inside, noticed Terrad and waved slightly before passing through the door to
her right. 'Thats why' Terrad thought again. He sighed and noticed Shina standing on
the far side of the meeting room having seen Yami wave to Terrad and not himself, he
was glaring at Terrad. He walked over to Shina. 
"So, have any clue why we are here?" Terrad asked smoothly, not showing any sign of
having noticed Shina'd blatent hostility radiating from his body. 
"No, No I do not" Shina said plainly. Just then Barex appeared at the podium,
seemingly out of nowhere. 
"Alright everyone, I would like to announce that Ky-Kie" Ky-Kie suddenly appeard out
of no where next to her Boyfriend and Captain. 
'My god those two have a knack for being showy' Terrad thought while rolling his
eyes. There were so many other places he would rather be right now. He looked
longingly towards the door in the hallway where Yami had disapeared into. He turned
back to the podium as Barex began to speak again. 
"Ky-Kie is, as of this morning, My second in command. She will take my place if
anything happens to me-" Ky-Kie stepped in front of Barex for a split second to add
in "Which nothing is going to happen" Before she stepped back allowing Barex to
continue. "Anyway, All the captains voted this morning to have Ky-Kie be second in
command." 
At this some of the leautenants began rolling their eyes or looking extremley
confused as none of them beleived their captains would let this happen. They all
beleived that their captains would fight to the death to become second in command.
And they were right....If any of the captains had been even the slightest bit alive
when the meeting took place. 
"So thats what is going to happen, Ky-Kie is second in command and all of you must
give her your utmost respect from now on! I know a lot of you tend to ignore her due
to her mixed genes but that is from here on out, unacceptable. Anyone who does such a
thing will be disbanded and roughly punished. Understood?"
A couple people twitched and a few others shuddered in fear of what Barex might do
to them. 
Silver and Sakura both simolaneously imagined being trapped inside a stone coffin
and then spikes comming out of it into their bodies. They both shuddered and hugged
each other. 
"Understood?" Barex asked again. All at once everyone said "Yes, Understood Barex
Sir!"
Everyone except Terrad and Shina that is. Terrad was so close to Barex he knew Barex
wouldnt do a thing to him and why would he want to make fun of Ky-Kie anyway? He
himself had quite a strange set of genes as did Yami, many people in HQ were
strange. And Shina just didnt give a damn, he was so used to taking beatings that it
no longer bothered him. 
"You may all leave" Barex said with a satisfactory look on his face from being able
to scare some of the toughest Leautenants out there. Even the Spirit Chlainamos has
jumped a little at the thought of being "punished" by Barex even though he was
already dead. 
Terrad stood up from the wall he was leaning against and began to walk towards the
hallway. He opened the door which he had seen Yami walk through earlier. It was
pitch black inside, even though there were several windows in the room and it was
broad daylight out. He stumbled, confused, into the room, and the door slammed shut
behind him. He felt a hand on his arm then the darkness was suddenly gone showing a
room full of people. All of whom were dressed as if a party was going on.
"wh-whats all this?" Terrad stammered shocked at all the happy faces. 
"Its a suprise party!" Azula called out, obviously unaware that she had only stated
the obvious and hadnt really answered Terrad's question. Terrad look to Yami who was
standing at his side smiling up at him while holding his arm. He turned when he heard
the door open and saw as Barex walked in with Ky-Kie, both of whom was holding up
either side of a giant cake. 
"I still dont understand whats going on!" Terrad said in utter confusion. 
"Well..." Yami started.
"None of us know when your birthday is." Barex added in.
"So we all decided to celebrate it a year from the day we met you!" Isuzu called
from across the room. 
"We faked this meeting you were just in, Of course that was valuable information
from this morning's meeting which we told you" Ky-Kie said, proud of her
accomplishment of becomming second in command.
"It was actually just a ruse to get you to come to HQ, however unwillingly, and make
you feel like it was pointless and be all depressed about having to go to a meeting
and all" Yami said, with a huge smile on her face. 
"Then we had Yami walk across the hall into this room and wave to you, we knew she
would get your attention and that you would follow her as soon as the meeting was
over." Jeri added. Yami blushed as Terrad looked down at her, smiling slightly,
finally beggining to understand what was going on. 
"We said that appointing Ky-Kie to second in command happened because today is the
anniversery of the start of the 7 Key Squad. But its actually the anniversery of the
day we met you." Barex said. 
"So, since the cake is here and all-" Yami started.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Everyone yelled at once causeing Terrad to be temporarily
defened. Yami tugged his arm towards the table where Barex and Ky-Kie had just set
down the cake. 
All the other members of the 7 Key Squad, along with even Shina, came waddling into
the room ready to watch Terrad cut his birthday cake. 
"Wow, Thanks guys...I didnt think..." Terrad stuttered.
"That we cared so much?" Yami said before standing on her tippy toes and kissing
him. "Well, we do"
And Terrad cut the cake and handed out peices to every member of the 7 Key Squad and
those who just lived in HQ. His face filled with joy at the newly found fact that
these people cared about him. And he knew from now on, things would be different.

Chapter 1: 
        Enter: The 7 Key Squad

   It was early Saturday morning when the last of the Captains awoke and headed down
to the meeting hall. 
"AAAHHHHHGGGGGAA" Azula yawned. Im so tired, why do we have to meet so early Barex?
I mean come on, I need my beauty sleep or I look like this! Everyone turns to see
Azula looking exactly as she always does except that she looks pretty damn tired.
They all sighed and turned back to their leader who had called them to the meeting
only 20 minutes ago.
"Yeah Barex come on! Its 4:00 in the morning! Do we really have to meet so early! I
dont sense any danger!" Yami complained rather loudly. It wasnt like her to complain

        Enter: The 7 Key Squad

They all sighed and turned back to their leader who had called them to the meeting

"Yeah Barex come on! Its 4:00 in the morning! Do we really have to meet so early! I
dont sense any danger!" Yami complained rather loudly. It wasnt like her to complain
so openly but she was most deffinitly not a morning person being the Captain of the
darkness squad and all. 
"I dont sense any danger, there are no heartless at the gates, we are safe, so i
dont get why if we have to suffer and wake up so early couldnt we have at least
woken up all the leautenants and everyone else too and make them suffer?!?!" Ky-Kie
said to her boyfriend. "Barex..." She made a sweet smile at him hoping it would
convince him to let her at least go torture the other lower class members of the 7
Key Squad by preferably dumping water on them while they slept. 
Barex sighed and used every last bit of his manliness to turn away from the
beautiful girl who was smiling at him. It was very difficult for him to ignore her
but he did it none the less. This was important and he had to get everyone's
attention!
"ALRIGHT! LISTEN UP EVERYONE!" Barex said just loudly enough for the squad captains
closest to him to hear him and nudge the people who didnt to shut up. "I have called
you all here..." he paused and sighed "this early in the morning to announce that it
has been a whole year since we have been together as a team." He paused once more to
wait for another outburst and sure enough, one came.
"Wait, so thats why we woke up this early? Couldnt this have waited?" A sleepy voice
came from amongst the captains. The captains parted to show a very tired Katilix
still holding her teddy bear and blanket, standing amongst the group of people who
were suposed to only consist of the 7 squad captains. She yawned and stared up at
Barex waiting for an answer as though nothing were wrong.
Everyone sighed and Yami slapped her forehead. Of course it had to be her first
leautenant who would come to an ALL CAPTAINS meeting. 
Barex stood up a little straighter and addressed Yami. "Yami, may i ask why a member
of your squad who is so obviously not the captain is standing in an all captains
meeting?" He said this ever so calmly, trying not to be annoyed at the interruption
he knew was going to happen. 
"I dont know Barex but im gonna have to kick her ass for doing it!" Yami yelled with
such fury that Katilix jolted awake and ran as fast as she possibly could up the
stairs at the end of the hall and didnt stop until she was safe under her blankets
again. Yami just took a deep breath and simply turned back to Barex and gestured for
him to continue. 
"Well....um...where was I?" Ky-Kie used her thoughts to remind Barex what he had
just said and he cleared his throat and began to speak but not before shooting
Ky-Kie a very kind thank you look. "So, we are here this morning to vote. We are
going to vote on-" He stopped as another voice cut across him and began to speak
rather quickly."
"But-But Barex! Waht coudl we possibly be voting for? We have all our captains and
leautenants, for peopel who have leautenants anyway, but why woudl we be-" Jeri, the
young Twilight squad captain was interupted by Barex who continued with saying:
"Yes, we have all our captains: I, the Earth Squad Captain and leader, You Jeri the
Twilight squad captain, Rikku the Water captain, Rei the Wind captain, Isuzu the
Light squad captain, Azula the fire squad captain, and Yami the darkness squad
Captain. But, We are not voting on captains. We are voting who should be second in
command if something happens to me."
"Wouldnt Ky-kie? I mean thats why she is the only leautenant at the meeting right?
She is the logical I guess, she is the first leautenant of you, our Earth squad
captain and leader. She makes perfect sense." Yami said, trying to sound as logical
as she could at 4:00 in the morning. 
"Well yes, she is the logical person to be second in command. I just wanted to vote
to make sure thats what everyone wanted." He yawned and then continued "Whoever
wishes this to be, please raise your hand." Everyone raised their hands, it was too
early to argue and Barex knew it, thats why he chose 4:00 in the morning as the time
to have the meeting. He knew if he asked them to vote on this later in the day once
everyone had a chance to wake up, they would surely fight over which one of them
should be second in command because they would never allow a leautenant to be second
in command when there were 6 other captains to chose from!
"Well then its settled" Barex turned to Ky-Kie "you are now second in command. If
anything should happen to me like if some cut my head off, or trapped me in a
bubble, or locked me away till i rotted into -" He stopped talking when he noticed
the horrible glare he was getting from Ky-Kie signaling it was time for him to shut
up and let everyone go back to bed. "Alright, if you wish you can go back to sleep
now" He trotted off towards the stairs leaving only Isuzu to stand aone in the
middle of the hall. She was the Light squad captain after all and she always woke up
this early. 
She sighed and walked outside to watch the sunrise. She jumped onto the roof where
so many of the people at Headquarters go when they want peace and quiet. "Well,
happy aniversery everyone" She said quietly as the sun lite up the grounds. 
This was going to be an interesting year.

we last left off with kayleigh and sora being brought to a room with some new
people:
donald, goofy, leon, and yuffie. with the fate of the world resting on these two
teenagers, will they be able to discover which one has the keyblade and train him
in
time?

                     Chapter 5:
"Ughhh" Kayleigh sat up slowly, unsure of where she was. "What happened?" she placed
a
hand to her forehead trying to remember. "Sora...the noises....the staff....and a
hand...??" She looked right then left. "AHHHHHH" she yelled and rolled backwards

                     Chapter 5:

She pulled herself up enough to peak over the side of the bed she had just fallen
off of.
"Sora? WTF?!?!?!" She poked him and waited. 
No movement.
She then proceeded to thrust him off the other side of the bed with one hand. 
"GAHHH!" Sora got up and looked across the bed to where Kayleigh sat. "What was
that
f---......where you and I in that bed together???" Kayleigh nodded and for a minute
Sora
had a pleased look on his face but upon seeing Kayleighs stern look he quickly
turned it
into a look of serious contemplation.
"How did we get here? All i remember is you by the fountain, me thinking about the
church, and then nothing...." He scratched his head. "Damn it...why dont we know
what
happened?"
"I can answer that" Leon walked into the room closely followed by Yuffie, then
Donald,
then Goofy.
"And who the Hell are you?" Kayleigh said pulling Sora back closer to her.
"Im Leon. This is Yuffie and Donald and Goofy" He said pointing to each individual
as he
said their names. "And we brought you here to find out which one of you is the
keyblade
weilder. Donald and Goofy were sent by the king himself to find and train the
weilder so
he or she can proceed to save the world by getting rid of the heartless that has
already
torn apart both of your homes."
    ****Hours past while Leon and the others explained what heartless were and how
they
stole hearts and how they beleived a person from everyworld was banning together
with the
others under one ruler to control the heartless and take over their respective
worlds.
This entire thing leaving Sora and Kayleigh quite speechless.****

"So one of us is going to be the wielder and then whoever it is has to risk his or
her
life to save the world and rid it of evil? And you have no idea how we come about
knowing
who the wielder is? it just has to happen? is this about right?" Sora said.
"Yup thats about right" Yuffie said with a smile as if none of this effected her in
the
least.
"Look, this is interesting and all but me and Sora have friends to find. we dont
have
time for this." Kayleigh said in a very 'and that is that' way.
"Kayleigh! You and Sorie have to save the world! the king said so! and the king is
always
right! its our job to help you." Donald Said.
"MY NAME IS SORA NOT SORIE!" 
"and your friends could be on any world and you need a gummi ship to get to other
worlds
but we need that keyblade to get there. you need us to be able to find your friends
and
we need you to help save the world" Goofy said. while donald stared at him clearly
stunned that he could sound so...smart!

             Sora and kayleigh adjorned and spoke about what they would do for a
while
before agreeing that they needed the gummi ship. and as long as they were together
they
would be fine.

"fine, we will do it." Kayleigh said. 
"Alright, we leave now for another world. We need to eventually close the portal i
told
you about in this world that lets the heartless in but we dont have the keyblade yet
so
thats pointless." Donald said.
"And we will hold down the fort here! right Leon!?" Yuffie exclaimed while jumping
up and
down.
"Good luck kids" Leon said before turning and walking out the door.
"well...i guess its time to go" Goofy said. And they left the building where all of
their
lives were changed forever.

                          Chapter 6:

"ALL ABOARD!" Goofy was dancing in a circle and yelling all aboard the enter time
they
boarded the gummi ship. "GOOFY! GIVE IT A REST IM GETTING A HEADACHE!" sora yelled
above
goofy's own yelling. upon the look of hurt on goofy's face sora reached out and gave
him
a huge hug. "Sorry goofy. its just the fact that my world has just been destroyed
and im
about to go into space with two animal looking people and a girl who is currently my
best
friend and i just met her and you two! im just a little stressed" sora sat in one of
the
back seats next to kayleigh. "so...you think im your best friend?" kayleigh gave him
a
playful shove when he began to blush. "yeah...i do...we have so much in common, and
our
friends are missing so why not stay close to the only person that i know thats
going
through the exact same thing as me?" 
donald went to the front driver's seat after goofy had sat down in the front
passenger
seat and passed out from dancing and yelling so much. "everyone ready? lets try not
to
wake goofy for a while...we will have some quiet time." he smiled back at kayleigh
and
sora and then they were off. soaring into the sky higher and higher till the world
below
seemed like a speck. a bright light in the shape of a keyhole lay ahead. "brace
yourselves" donald called back. sora and kayleigh grabbed whatever was near. when
they
came close enough to the light it sucked them in at full speed and shot them out in
a
completley different part of outter space. "ooooo....i can never get used to that
feeling" donald said looking queezy. kayleigh looked at sora and he looked at her
then
they both looked down to find that during their breif period inside the light warp
thing...they had grabbed each other's hands but didnt even realize till after. 
the quickly let go and turned to look out their own windows...both blushing wildly.
    **** 3 hours later****
"QUUUUAAAAAAAA!" everyone but goofy shot awake immediatly. "wha-whats going
onnn?!?!"
sora said through a yawn. "whats happened?" kayleigh added. "WE ARE HERE! sorry if
i
scared you guys by yelling like that i was just excited. this is our first world."
they
looked out the windows upon a world which seemed to be only made of woods and
gardens and
what looked like a tiny castle. they landed amidst the gardens at the edge of the
woods.
donald opened the doors and they steped out leaving goofy sleeping in the gummi ship
"we
could probly search quicker without them" donald had told them.
they steped to the edge of the woods and heard a small boyish laugh and then the
words
"WELCOME TO WONDERLAND!" along with a seemingly floating smile.

                  Chapter 7:

"Welcome to wonderland" a voice comming from no where said.
"wonderland?" kayleigh asked looking at the others. "whats that?"
"hahahhaha...whats wonderland you ask? well...follow my voice and smile and i shall
show
you" a smile appeared in a tree next to donald who screamed and jumped onto goofy
when he
saw it. "haha..you seem jumpy...you must be new to this land." 
"Uh...Mr...uh...Smile. We are looking for our friends..Riku and Kairi..."
"And Landon and Gerryn!" Kayleigh interupted.
"Hmmm...I know of an Alice and of a queen. I know a joker and and a rabbit so
clean.
Alice is in trouble, so youd better run. But watch out for the meanies..." they
began to
run into the maze of a garden without listening to the rest of the cheshire cat's
warning
but he shouted anyway "AND TRY NOT TO HAVE FUN!...kids these days" and with that he
dissapeared.

Goofy stopped running and stood straight up causing Sora, then Kayleigh then Donald
to
run into him and eachother. 
"QUUUAAAA! goofy! why did you stop?" Donald yelled furiously
"I hear crying!" Sora steped forward and looked around a corner then motioned for
kayleigh and the rest to follow. 
"I see two people!" he whispered to kayleigh when she was close enough to hear. 
"our friends?!?!" she asked hopefully.
"i dont think so." they all edged their way closer to the two people sitting on a
log
with their backs to the group which was aproaching them. A boy sitting on the left
with
his arm wrapped, consoleingly, around a girl. 
A twig snaps as they sneak up on them and the boy stands up and whips around leaving
the
girl to wobble a little unsteadily before getting up and standing behind the boy.
"WHO ARE YOU?" he yelled. obviously he was furious but it didnt seem to be because
him
and the girl were just intruded upon.
"WHO ARE YOU?!" he yelled again more forcefully. Kayleigh stepped forward trying to
peer
around the boy at the girl who was standing behind him trying to clear her puffy,
red
eyes of tears.
"Are you two alright?" Kayleigh asked.
"who are you?" the girl mumbled.
"my name is Kayleigh, this is sora, donald, and goofy." she gestured to each one as
she
said the name. "and we are here looking for our friends. Have you by any chance seen
two
boys? one blonde and one brunette?"
"or a boy and a girl. the boy with silver hair and the girl with red?" sora added. 
"n-no...we havent" the girl said...barely audible. still trying to subdue her tears
she
stepped forward and introduced herself and the boy who still had yet to put down
his
weapon. 
"My name is Sara, and this is Barex"

  Chapter 8:

"Hmm...Barex and Sara..those names seem familiar." Sora said.
"I think ive heard the names before too" Kayleigh said. "Anway its nice to meet you
two.
why are you crying Sara?"
"Its nothing. Just forget about it." She said sitting back down while looking on
the
verge of fainting.
"I dont know if we can trust these people" Sora and kayleigh overheard donald saying
to
goofy. 
"Donald. Sara is crying and we dont know why not to mention they are sitting in the
middle of a maze...we need to help them" Sora said. Kayleigh stared at him in
disbelief
of his compassion for two people they didnt even know. He looked over and say her
staring
and he smiled. then they both hurridly turned away and blushed.
Barex watched the whole thing with his hand resting on Sara's shoulder and the
other
holding out his keyblade.
"I dont know what you two are doing over there smiling at each other and whispering
but
we need to find and save Alice before the Queen of Hearts beheads her!" Barex said
in a
frustrated tone.
"Then we better go!" Goofy yelled. They had started to think he wasnt there anymore
from
the lack of sound comming from him and the fact that we left the group for about 5
minutes. Kayleigh stared at him...something was weird with this whole situation and
she
just couldnt put her finger on what it was.
"Your right Goofy. Sara, Barex, If you guys need our help, we are at your service!"
And
with that barex and sara started running towards the castle which loomed overhead. 
 
"Do you have anything to say before i reach my verdict?" The Queen's voice boomed
loudly
over the castle grounds. Sora, Barex, Kayleigh and Sara stood with their heads
sticking
out from behind a wall of bushes watching what was unfolding.
"N-No. Because i did not do anything wrong!" Alice said, forcing herself to sound
strong
and Brave.
"Very well, I shall deliberate...."
We have to make a plan" Sara said.
"Right, good idea." Kayleigh added. They all stood back behind the wall while the
Queen
file her nails and ask the rabbit how beautiful she is "Very my Queen." He would
stutter.
"Alright, here is the plan: Me and Donald will go to the right and wait for the
signal,
while Sora and Sara go to the left behind the bushes, same as us and wait. Then
Kayleigh
you will run out and try to distract the Queen and the gaurds while we get Alice.
Goofy
will be there waiting in case something happens. and so will we." Barex said.
Kayleigh
felt jealous that she had to be the distraction while Sara got to go with Sora.
*Stupid
plan...distraction....kissy face.....grrr* she thought.
"Alright, Great plan!" Sora said which only fueled Kayleighs annoyance more.
"Alright and the signal is the moment kayleigh walks out so whenever your ready
Kayleigh,
just do it! just try not to wait too long..if Alice had already been beheaded...its
been
to long." Barex said and they ran off. Kayleigh watched Sora grab Sara's hand and
pull
her to the left until they disapeared. 
"Ok, Goofy Im gonn-...Goofy?" she turned around but she didnt see him anywhere. She
couldnt wait for him, she had to go in, the Queen was about to give her verdict.
"I declare that for the crime of thinking she was more beautiful than me and
attempting
to beat me in a game of-..."
*I have to go now!* kayleigh thought. and when she was about the step out she felt a
hand
reach out across her face and cover her mouth. *what the* she thought. 
"Keep quiet Princess." The voice said. It was goofy? His other hand reached out
across
her stomache and he forced her forward into the area where she was suposed to be
distracting the Queen.
                   *****
"Where is Kayleigh? Its already been 5 minutes!" Sora said. he was worried
something
might have happened. "What if something happened to her?" 
"Im sure nothing happened. She is just waiting for the right time to strike. Im sure
of
it!" Sara said reassuringly. Sora looked at her and she smiled at him. Her smile
made him
feel warm and he couldnt help but smile back. Then he heard the Queen yell "WHAT IS
THE
MEANING OF THIS INTRUSION!" 
"she must be out there! Lets go!" Sora yelled and he jumped through the bushes But
then
stopped short when he saw Kayleigh being dragged forward by Goofy. *What is going
on?
This isnt the plan* he said to himself. Then he looked across the way to Donald and
Barex
to see Donald being subdued by Barex. A noise from behind startled him. It was Sara.

"What is going on?! This wasnt the plan!" Sora asked as he looked back from
Kayleigh's
horrified face to Donald struggling to get free of Barex's strong hold.
"Its a pitty i have to do this Sora. Your so cute. But I guess it wouldnt have
worked out
between us...." She brought her face so close to his that she could have nearly
kissed
him. "...too bad im evil."  He felt a thud on the back of his head and everything
went
black. The last thing he heard was Kayleigh yell his name...and then...nothing.

Story:

    She lived on a small island with her friends Landon and Gerryn. They had a
pretty
good life on the island with family and other kids on the island. but one night
while
having a bonfire on the beach they saw a blackness in the sky that no night could
possibly produce. Soon their entire island was swarming with heartless and
darkness.
While staying near to Gerryn and Landon, Kayleigh and her friends searched theisland
for
their family or anyone that lived on the island but found no one. Instead they found
a
portal. The portal was on a wall of a house which was surrounded by heartless.
while
trying to sneak to the portal, they were spotted and surrounded. backed against the
wall
with the portal, they could do nothing but jump into it and hope it led them
somewhere
safe. but the heartless were comming closer, the were within arms reach when landon
fell
backwards into the portal. Gerryn grabbed him and fell in too but not before
kaleigh
grabbed his foot. They tumbled through darkness, alone, and yet still together, when
they
thudded onto hardpavement.

we last left kayleigh and her friends when they were falling through a dark portal
(on
page one) now to resume:
 
                                            Chapter 2:


"Ughh-...where am i?" Kayleigh sat up and looked around. It was bright...she had to
sheild her eyes from the lights until they adjusted. She found a sign with a name on
it
"Twi-...Ooof" The ground shifted beneath her and she toppled over onto her back.
"Well....to answer your question. You were sitting on me and since im in Twilight
Town
that would lead me to beleive that you are too." A boy with brown spikey hair said
as he
tried to get up. "Ugh, you hit me hard! my back is gonna ache for days!" He looked
upon
Kayleigh. "Who are you anyway?"
she was stunned. She had no idea she had just been sitting on this boy. She could
feel
her cheeks burn hot pink as she blushed at her embarassment. "I-I'm Kayleigh"
"well, hi Kayleigh im Sora and could you give a guy a warning next time your gonna
land
on him?" he stood up and bent his back backwards in order to get rid of the pain.
but it
just seemed to make it worse.
"I am soooo sorry! I was just in a portal....you see me and my frie-" she gasped
just
realizing that her friends, Landon and Gerryn, were no where to be found! "Oh no!
My
friends! Their missing, well...their just not here...but- we were in the portal, i
could
have sworn i had a hold of Gerryn...or was it Landon that i had a hold of but what
if-"
Sora gave a long mournful sigh "Maybe you should just take a deep breath Kayleigh
Im
looking for my friends too. You see i just hit the ground here too when you feel out
of
the sky and hit me" a painful look crossed his face as he remembered being pumulled
by
her just minutes ago. "I had fallen into a portal too. Maybe it was me you grabbed?
I
mean it was really dark in there"
She nodded clearly not knowing what to think. Just minutes ago she was sitting on
the
beach with her two best friends talking about what they were going to do with the
last
month of summer. "I guess that could have been what happened...i supose it is
possible."

All of a sudden a horrible noise sounded from the far away darkness of the night. 
"QUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

we last left Kayleigh and Sora trying to figure out how they ended up in Traverse
town at
the same time and why they were even there in the first place. time to resume with
chapter
3!!  (and i know i said they were in Twilight Town before but i accidently said that
i
mean Traverse Town....we all make mistakes ^_^)
              
                 Chapter 3:

 "QUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
"What in the world was that?" Kayleigh turned to Sora who was spinning around trying
to
figure out where the noise had come from. After spinning for a while he fell over.
"Ooooo Im Dizzy now..." He sat up and put his hand to his head while he wobbled on
the
ground.
"well silly! That wasnt very smart. i know where the noise came from follow me."
she
began to walk away when she realized Sora was still sitting on the ground. she
walked
over and held out her hand for him. he grabbed it and she...with a lot of
effort...pulled
him to his feet. although the world was still spinning he allowed her to guide him
toward
the dark alleyway which would lead them to the source of the noise.
                     *****
(elsewhere)

"Quaaa!! The heartless! Their everywhere!!" said a white little duck who was wearing
very
strange clothes. 
"Ahuyck! Donald, how are we gonna find the wheelder of the keyblade now?" Donald
shot his
very strange friend a frustrated look.
"Goofy i told you already we are looking for the weilder of the keyblade not the
WHEELDER!" and with that the heartless jumped from all sides onto the helpless
friends.
Things were looking bleak. Donalds magical staff had been knocked from his grasp
and
goofy was being held down by the countless heartless and was unable to fight. 
When out of the impending darkness and doom that had settled upon them came a gleam
of
hope! Two people were comming closer...a boy....and a..............girl. and then
darkness.

                 *****
(back with Kayleigh and Sora)

they had been running toward the source of a commotion. Voices...they had heard two
voices. a rather scratchy one which was hard to make out and a more comprehensable
one.
But both were fading and soon there was no noise to be heard. 
They rounded a corner.
"This is where the noise is comming fro-" Kayleigh stopped dead. Sora came around
the
corner next.
"Kayleigh...you run way to fast! its hard to keep u-" he stopped talking when he
noticed
what she was staring at. 
Nothing. Nothing at all. Just an empty little enclosed courtyard where the shops and
a
giant old church stood. there was noway out but the way they came in. Sora glared at
the
church with fascination. 
"Its huge!" his eyes ran all the way up to the top where a flat part sat on the face
of
the church. "what the..." he grabbed Kayleigh "Look!" he pointed to where he had
been
looking.
"what? what did you see?" she stared at nothing but an old church.
"I saw someone. in a black hood!" she gave him a confused look "I KNOW I DID
KAYLEIGH!
you gotta beleive me, he was staring at me but when i turned to get you he must
have
vanished!" Sora let go of her arm and stared at the building. 
Kayleigh began walking around the courtyard investigating what she beleived to be
the
scene of the commotion. she sat on the edge of a little fountain. 
"Sora. i dont know whats going on. This is the only possible place that the noise
could
have come from. and i heard fighting moments before we got here. almost like a sword
or a
couple of them. Im not su-" she had been staring into the pond when her eyes caught
the
glint of something on the side of the pond in a crack between the pond and a
staircase.
she bent down and picked it up. "A staff! look Sora! i found somethi-" 
But before she could get those words out...something had found her.

returing to my story. we left off with Kayleigh finding a staff on the ground but
someone
or something seems to have found her at the same time!!!! duhn duhn duhnnnnnnnnnn

                     Chapter 4:

  **creeeeeek** 
   Kayleigh shot straight up. Something was behind her. Sora was investingating by
the
door to the church. 'seriously, why is he so entranced by that' she thought without
meaning to. 
 "Sor-!" A hand clamped around her mouth from up above. someone was on the upper
platform
above the fountain and whoever it was seemed to be pulling her up. She thrashed
trying to
make noise. Just before she was out of reach, she kicked at the pond causing a small
but
audible splash. Sora turned around 'YES!' Kayleigh thought.
  Unfortunatly that was the moment that was needed for the woman lurking behind Sora
to
launch a surprise attack and grab him from behind as well. 
  They were captured. And there was absolutly nothing they could do about it. 

               *****
(Elsewhere in a small hotel-like bedroom)

"When are they gonna be back?!! Its been 20 minutes already! They should be back by
now!"
The little white duck named Donald was restless. Pacing back and forth
relentlessly.
Unable to control his anxiousness to see the weilder of the keyblade. 
"Donald...I think i see um comming! Ahuyck! And they have two little people!" Goofy
was
standing by the window playing watchman as Donald Paced. They had been captured but
not
by enemies. For if these two people had not shown up, Donald and Goofy would not
have
been able to ever complete their mission.
"They are here!!! Quuuuuaaaa!" Donald ran to the door in time to have it open and
slam
him against the wall.
*Gasp!* Goofy gasped but still looked on the verge of laughing out loud. 
"Goofy! Whats goin on? Where is Donald? I could have sworn i heard him" A young
Ninja
girl said before she began searching near and far across the room for Donald
"Yuffie. Check behind the door." A man said leisurely. He had Kayleigh in his arms.
Yuffie had already dumped Sora on the bed near the door the moment she walked into
the
room. 
Yuffie walked to the door and closed it to find Donald as flat as a pancake behind
it.
"Oh Donald! did i do that? I am so SORRY!"
The man who had Kayleigh walked to the other side of the bed which Sora lay upon
and
gently placed Kayleigh beside him. "Im not sure which one of these two is the
Keyblade
weilder but it has to be one of them. Im not sure how i know...its just a feeling"
he
added as Donald gave him an alarmed look. 
"They should not be here if you are not sure who they are! No one should even know
that
we are looking for the keyblade unless they are involved." The man raised his
eyebrow.
"Well, you are included Leon. You and Yuffie. No one should know until we have the
weilder! Otherwise the dark side will go after whoever weilds it and then we are in
big
trouble!"
 They all turned to the two young people laying on the bed, hoping with every part
of
their being that one of these two teenagers holds the key to saving the world.
