So I finally went and saw Twilight today. I know it's been nearly two months since
it came out, but my theater isn't supposed to have it until the 8th, and so while
I'm on vacation I saw it with my grandma. She slept through the boring parts (which
was basically the entire first half of the movie), but she saw the end of it. She
thought it was sad, but I didn't really think so. I counted all the other people in
the theater with us, and besides us there were ten others.

So, here's my review of it: It was okay. I didn't like it as much as I wanted to,
but I didn't hate it either. The beginning really was a tad on the boring side, but
when things began to liven up they really got good. I didn't imagine all the people

So, here's my review of it: It was okay. I didn't like it as much as I wanted to,

at Forks High School to look like they did, especially the Asian dude whose name
escapes me right now, but they were okay in the parts. I nearly LOL'ed when I first
saw Jacob and his hair, but I didn't. Most of the Cullens didn't act the way I
thought they would, and I think that was the part that most differed from my
imagination. I had imagined Carlisle a little less hot, for one thing. Rosalie
really came across as a real bitch, while Jasper hardly said a word the entire time.
I like Alice just as much as I thought I would, but she was one of the few. I didn't
really have any qualms with Emmett, either, but he didn't do much talking either.
Edward seemed a bit awkward in the beginning, but then again he seems a bit awkward
in the beginning of the book too. Bella was Bella, and I'm still not sure about
whether I like her or not.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. It's just a few minutes after
midnight here for me, and I'm really at a loss for words. 2008 hasn't exactly been
the greatest year for me, and I hope that 2009 is my greatest year ever. I'll turn
14, enter the 8th grade, (maybe I'll write another NaNo Novel somewhere in all the
excitement), and hopefully make a lot of new friends and reconnect with lots of old
ones. 

I know that this year will also be tough, as many of my friends will be moving away
and I won't see them for a long time, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
My friends are like the pillars of my life, and I don't know what I'd do without
them. Even some people here on Kupika are close friends to me, and I hope that we'll
be friends for a really long time.

It's five in the morning and I've been awake since about three thirty. The TV in
here is on still from last night, and after listening to over an hour of Barney,
Sesame Street is now on. For the second time. I'm feeling too lazy at the moment to
go into the other room to get the remote, or to go up to the box and change the
channel. And I can't get back to sleep. RAWR!

Just in case anyone wanted to know. I'll be operating on the EST hours, but I'll be
staying up rediculously late anyways. ;-)
