I was standing in the crwd looking uo at my best friend. I saw him holding in to the
friendship neckless that I have the other half to while singing "Hello Beautiful". He
was staring at me out of all those other girls in the audiance and just then i
realized he was singing to me. It was so obvious all along. he was holing our
friendship necklss and looking at me. Oh My God!!!! Nick Jonas is in love with me! I
ran out of the crowd pushing screaming girls out of the way. I was making my way back
stage when I ran into Big Rob. And I mean literally.
"Oh! Hey Rebecca! I thought you were a fan trying to sneak backstage. "
"Hey. when's their next break?"
"Two more songs."
"Ugh!"
"Why are you so fustrated?"

"I need to talk to Nick."
"He neds to talk to you too. He said it's somhting important." I waited inpatientlly
by the stage entrance/exit. Finally! The end of the third second song. Joe said a few
things into the microphone, then nick came runing past me but I caught him by his
hand.
"Oh. Hey! I saw you run out of the crowd. I was hoping you'd be back here."
"Yeah, I need to ask you something"
"Gotta go change!" he was being pulled by his wardrobe manager into his dressing
room. Within five minutes he walked past me again now being pulled by someone else
with a face expressin that stated 'I'm sorry.'
           This is why i hate being back stage. At least when i was in the audiance,
I got to look at him. Wait! why do I like looking at him? He's my best friend. Has
been ever since I was 2. How come i've never thought of him like this before. This
is weird. Maybe I should stop thinking now.
           I decided to go wait in Nick's dressing room. that way he had to talk to
me. While I waited I played with my phone and ipod. Suddenly, Nick walked in while
taking his shirt off. I just stared at him with his shrt half way off. I couldn't
believe his muscles. And he just stared at me with my feet on the table. 
"Sorry...?" It came out as more of a question, but I said it anyways. 
"That's Okay" Nick said. "Now I can just carry you out.!" he took his shirt all the
way and swung me over his shoulder. He carried me out of the room and put me down.
Then I jumped on his back..
"Wow." Joe walked up. "She has no shoes on. You have no shirt on, so I guess that
equals no problems i quikly jumped off of Nicks back.
"We gotta get back on stage." Joe said and pulled Nick by the hand.
"My shirt!" 
"The girls will love it!" Joe said. "Look!" Joe pointed to me. "Rebecca likes it!" I
hit Joe on the arm and then pulled Nick into the dressing room, kissed him softly on
the lips to tell him that I did like it, put his shirt on him and pushed out. He had
the most confused look on his face.
            I was scared of what was going to happen when he saw me again. They
didn't get off stage again until the end of the concert. the last song, "When You
Look Me In The Eyes", ended. my heart was pounding faster then ever. Nick came off
stage with his guitar and started to  sing "Lovebug", but I stopped him with a kiss

This was a journal I wrote for my english class and I really liked how it turned out
so I decided to post it on here.

Happiness is that warm and fuzzy feeling.
Happiness is when you get exactly what you want for christmas.
Happiness is that first kiss from that perfect guy.

Happiness is when you get an A on a test you thought tou were going to fail.
Happiness is when you get a new puppy and it jumps into your arms.

So my best friend in the whole entire world was about to leave for 3 months to go
on
a huge tour because he just had to be a member of this huge band. He's a Jonas
Brother. And yeah, most people would probably think that it's the most awsomest
thing that my best friend is one of the members of a famous band. But trust me,
it's
not that great. I barley ever get to see him and he thinks he has the best
girlfriend
in the world but what he doesn't know is that she's a lying, cheating butt that is
using him. He's dating some actress that he had to kiss in a movie he was in so
they
started going out. She's horrible. Once she actually told me to stay away from him

of her co-stars. Why don't I tell Nick? Because i care about him and I don't want

make him upset. I want him to be happy because if he's hurting then it hurts me. 
   My thoughts were interupted by my phone ringing. I looked at the screen. It was
Nick. Great! Just what I needed, to hear him tell me how great of a time he was
having with his girlfriend. I may seem a little jealous to you. But that's because
I
am. I finally deciced to answer the phone.
"Yes, Nick?"
"Hey."
"Hi."
"Are you busy today?"
"no. why?"
"You wanna hang out?" Oh my Gosh! It's a miracle. Nick's asking me to hang out
before Selena.
"why? Did Selena turn you down? Am I now you second choice?"
"Okay what's gotten into you?" He asked shocked
"I don't know. It's just I never get to spend time with you anymore."
"Looks like someone's a little jealous!" He teased me 
"I am not!"
"Fine. if you say your not then I believe you"
"good. So what do you want to do"
"I don't know. Why don't we take a walk or something."
"mkay." I said and hung up the phone. Then ran out the front door into Nick's yard.
I knocked on the door and Joe answered. 
"hey" Joe said giving me this weird stare.
"Uh, Joe. Can you let me in"
"Nick's in his room" Joe said and jumped back on  the couch. I ran up the stairs to
find Nick Shouting 'hello' into the phone.
"Stupid phones!" He said and turned around to see me staring at him with a smile on
my face.
"How much of that did you hear?" he asked
"up until the last hello" I said smiling.
"You could have said you were hanging up"
"I'm sorry"
"It's too late for that" he said and picked me up and threw me over his shoulder
and
carried me down the stairs.
"Nick!! Put me down"
"No." he said. Then he saw Joe and Kevin staring at us so he slowly put me down
almost dropping me.
"wow" Joe said
"I don't even wanna know" Kevin said then walked away.
"um" We walked out the door with our arms linked.
"So....yeah"
"I have to tell you something" Nick said
"okay so tell me."
"Yesterday when I went over to Selena's house I found her kissing some guy. She
said
it was her co-star and they were just rehersing but I think she was just saying
that
to cover up the fact that she's  cheating on me"
"Nick, she's been doing it"
"You knew" He said dissapointed"and you didn't tell me"
"Nick! I tried. And you wouldn't listen" I said "Don't blame me because you fell
for
a girl who was nothing you thought she was."
"sorry. I just thought she was different"
"Atleast I still have you" He said and gave me a huge hug. "My best friend"
"Yeah, best friend" I repeated staring at the ground.
"So..."
"So..."
"This is pretty boring." He said
"Yeah. we can't do the things we used  to when we were little"
"why not?"
"because we're sixteen. wouldn't look kind of weird for us to play in the water
sprinkers, or build a treehouse.....okay I'll admit it would be kind of fun to play
in the sprinklers."
"then let's" he said
"what?"
"let's play in the sprinklers"
"okay" Nick and I sat up the sprinklers turned them on, then changed into our
bathing suits. We ran around for about an hour until my parents came and saw us. I
caught him looking at me a few times when we were running around but when I looked
at him he looked away quickly. I could have been the fact that I was in a bikini
but
it's not the first time he's seen me in my swim suit before.

     Before we knew it it was Saturday. The day Nick left me for four months. I had
to talk to him. I couldn't let him leave not knowing how I felt. I got up and
looked
out the window. Sure enough there was the Jonas Brothers tour bus parked outside
their house. I got up, got a shower, put some clothes on and ran next door. I
didn't
care what I loked like. I just wanted to say goodbye to my best friend in the whole
entire world. I knocked on the door and Nick answered it.
"Hey Nick" He threw his arms around me.
"I don't know what I'm gonna do without you" He said
"me neither. But I need to tell you something."
"okay. talk" I tried to tell him but we kept getting distracted by someone or
something. Before I knew it it was 11:00 and it was time for them to leave. I said
good bye to Frankie, Joe, Kevin, Mr. Jonas, and  Mrs. Jonas. But somehow I couldn't
force my self to say bye to Nick. Maybe because I didn't want him to leave. Nick
was
standing in front of me.
"Good bye" He said. I didn't say anything.
"Did you hear me?" He asked
"yeah. I heard you."
"are you going to say bye, wish me good luck? Anything?"
"Good luck." I said
"Hey. I'm not leaving you forever."
"I know."
"Okay bye" he gave me a hug and then walked away. He stopped at the doors of the
bus
and waved goodbye. He got in. The bus started driving away. When It was half way
down
the street I started running after it.
"Nick! Wait!"  I sreamed. Suddenly the bus stopped. Nick got out and started
running
towards me. I did  the same. When we finally reached eachother he grabbed both of
me
hands and stared into my eyes.
"Nick, I'm in-love with you and always have been" Before I knew it we were kissing.
I finally got what I've been wanting all along.
