If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a
resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom
all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but
do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my
body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it
keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are

Satisfied with Jesus
I am satisfied with Jesus,
He has done so much for me:
He has suffered to redeem me,
He has died to set me free.
I am satisfied, I am satisfied,

therefore feel the only way out is to go home permanently, to escape ourselves.
We are born searching for significance. We tend to measure ourselves by our past,
and we become glued to certain events which haunt us. We behave in a manner
persistent with how we think we are. I am a pretty good example of this. We act to
fit the image we, through looking in the past, assign to ourselves.
Some of us are stuck being who we do not want to be: Some of us are stuck being
victims. Some of us are stuck betraying others and pushing them away. Some are

"Those who fail are unworthy of love. And deserve to be punished."
How does this statement make you feel? What thoughts come to mind?
How would you feel if a stranger said it to condemn someone else?
How would you feel if it was someone you cared about referring to them self?
How would you feel if you said it about yourself?
Very different feelings huh? What if I added something to it: Those who fail are
unworthy of love. And deserve to be punished. Thankfully though, we have all failed
and so none 'deserve' it. Love is a gift. If we are all undeserving of it, but
capable of giving it, then isn't it worth more, not less?

dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave
