Is life ever boring when you're Larksong? With the exception of geography class,

Numero dos. Friday night is the first school dance of the year, and my first school
dance ever. I know, pathetic. Did I mention that I have no idea how to slow dance,
and that if any boy asks me to dance I'll probably just make a strangled sound and
stand there looking petrified.... GAAH! On a lighter note, I'm (sort of) dressing up
like a shiny umbrreon. The theme is neon, and I'm wearing a black dress and adding
some blue ribbon rings. Pretty umbreon-like, huh?

A preview of a story that I'm working on... The Epic Adventures of the Legendaries
in the Human World (TEALIHW)

Mew looked at the inside of the edifice. There were shops and humans are far as the
eye could see, enough sounds to last an immortal lifetime, and the biggest variety
of aromas and smells Mew had ever taken a whiff of, ranging from rotten milk to
rose-scented perfume. Where was he? The answer is simple: At the mall.

Arceus had decided that they all needed a break from their duties, and had put a
host of reliable ditto in charge of the world while the legendaries were on
vacation. Latias had heard some girls from Altomare talk about a 'mall' where they
could 'chill' and decided to tell Arceus about it. It had sounded like a good idea

vacation. Latias had heard some girls from Altomare talk about a 'mall' where they
could 'chill' and decided to tell Arceus about it. It had sounded like a good idea
at the time, so the Original One had decided to take the legendaries on a field trip
to one of the human world's many malls. 

Of course, a few legendaries hadn't been able to come, but only very few. Regigigas
was sleeping in Acuity Temple, and could not be disturbed, Rayquaza was too busy
handling something called 'Global Warming' in the Ozone layer, and Lugia was just
busy dealing with a group of fishermen that were blowing up some coral reefs for
fishing. Other than that, all the legendaries were here. Heatran, Shaymin, Jirachi,
Mewtwo, Deoxys, Cresselia, Darkrai... You name it they were there. 

At the moment the legendaries had arrived at the mall in human disguises, Arceus, in
the form of a young lady with white hair, gold streaks and a white tunic, had started
towards the book shop. "I'll probably be there all day, sipping some human 'coffee'
and reading a book. DO NOT DISTURB ME UNLESS YOU HAVE MANAGED TO DISTURB THE BALANCE
OF THE WORLD,” She had roared, then made her way towards a shop called 'Barnes &
Nobles'.  Uxie, a blind, blond boy with his bangs combed back, sighed.

"I guess I'd better head to the book store too. Thank Arceus for my 'psychic
sight'..." he had muttered. He had gone off after Arceus in the general direction of
the book shop, bumping into several people on the way. "Oops... Sorry... Excuse me...
So very sorry m'am..." Azelf sniggered.

"Guess his 'psychic sight' isn't as good as he thinks it is." 

After that, most of the legendaries had gone their own ways. Mew knew, for a fact,
that Articuno had gone ice-skating at the skating rink, and Moltres was watching
her, romance novel in hand, and trying to resist the temptation to melt the whole
rink down into a swimming pool. Giratina had gone out of the mall, across the
street, saying something about a riot. Zapdos, Groudon, Dialga, Palkia and Azelf had
wanted to go skateboarding, but when Mesprit had pointed out that they didn't have
skateboards, Zapdos had simply grinned and said that they would 'fix that'. Mew
wondered what they were doing...

As for Celebi, well, the green-haired girl with fake fairy wings was right beside
him. She looked him in the eye. "Ready?" She chirped, readiness and enthusiasm
burning in her blue eyes. Mew, a pink-capped boy, nodded.

"Ready as I'll ever be." There was a slight pause after this statement, building up
the tension. 

"LET'S GO RAID THE TOY SHOP!!"

A loud screech was heard all throughout the mall.

"I DON'T WANT TO GO IN!! LET GO OF ME YOU ALIEN LIFEFORM!"

It was Mewtwo, hanging on for dear life onto a metal fence beside the entrance of
the mall. He absolutely refused to enter the human building, and Deoxys was
attempting to drag the purple-haired boy in by the foot. "You are going in, even if
I have to drag you in by the tail!" Deoxys muttered through gritted teeth. Though he
may not look like it, Mewtwo was very, very heavy in human form. 

"I DON'T EVEN HAVE A TAIL ANY MORE! I am not going into that unworthy human
construction! They'll probably want to catch me and stick me in a test tube! HUMANS
CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!"

"YOU DOLT, YOU ARE A HUMAN!" At this point, Deoxys had noticed that several humans
were staring at them. Closest to them was a girl with blond hair, curiously staring
at the pair of legendaries. Deoxys smiled apologetically. “Sorry, he just got out
of the mental hospital. Hit his head hard on a tree when he was young, he’s never
been the same since…”

The human gave them a strange look, and walked away. Deoxys sighed. It was going to
be one heck of a ‘vacation’.

All of a sudden, a bunch of strangely familiar human teenagers raced past on
skateboards, followed by a group of adults in blue uniforms shouting. Mewtwo and
Deoxys blinked.

“Is it just me or do those humans look just like Zapdos, Dialga, Palkia, Azelf and
Groudon racing by on skateboards while being chased by human police?” Mewtwo
asked.

Full Moon Festival

A/N: Happy Mid-autumn festival everybody! Today (Sept 14th) is a Chinese festival in
which the Chinese people hold in honor of the moon goddess, and pray to her for good
harvest! I thought this really fit Cresselia, since the moon is ALWAYS full on the
mid-autumn festival. I decided to write a little one-shot using this as a prompt.
PS: The legendaries can change into human form in this…

Cresselia looked at the sky from the tree branch she was sitting on. She was in her
human form, a blond-haired teenager with a blue and yellow tube top and a pink scarf
belt wrapped around her wrists and waist in big loops.  She sighed. The moon was
full, and it was the night of her favorite festival of the year: The Full Moon
Festival.

It was the festival of the year when they honored the Moon legendary, AKA her. There
were little girls prancing around the nearby village she was watching, dressed up as
her, holding candlelit lanterns. There were also boys dressed up as, whom else? Her
counterpart, Darkrai.

Cresselia saw the children playing with their lanterns and costumes. She loved
watching humans celebrating. They were so joyful and carefree, especially the
children. It pained her sometimes to think that those very children might grow up to
be members of sinister groups like Team Rocket or Team Galactic. But tonight, he just
wanted to forget that. 

Most families would be inside their homes, eating moon cakes, copper-colored
pastries made of lotus seed paste and egg yolk. Personally, Cresselia didn’t need
to eat, so she had never tasted one, she could tell from the humans’ reactions
that they were delicious. 

All of a sudden, a deep voice said, “I knew I’d find you here.” The moon
legendary looked down to see a teenaged boy with white hair tied in a ponytail,
covering one of his eyes in a black trench coat. Darkrai.

“What do you want?” She groaned. She had learnt from experience. Darkrai usually
visited when he wanted to annoy her or was being forced to by Arceus or Giratina or
being blackmailed.

Darkrai climbed up onto the tree next to her. “Nothing,” He replied simply.
“Aren’t I allowed to watch the moon with my counterpart?” 

Cresselia was, for once, speechless. But… Didn’t Darkrai usually hate the full
moon? And this was… The full moon of full moons! The Full Moon Festival! She
looked over at her counterpart, and saw that his single visible azure eye was fixed
on the moon.

Cresselia blushed. The situation was quite romantic, and if Mew or Deoxys or anybody
saw them right now, then their lives would be ruined… But Cresselia did feel quite
comfortable with Darkrai next to her. She just didn’t feel so… Lonely. 

Subconsciously, the moon legendary had put her head on Darkrai’s shoulder.
Darkrai’s eyebrows were raised. “I thought you hated the Full Moon, Darkrai,”
Cresselia sighed.

Darkrai smirked. “If I did, then that would mean hating you. So I guess I love the
full moon now.”The nightmare legendary shrugged. Now it was Cresselia’s turn to
be surprised. 

Darkrai leant towards her and whispered something in Cresselia’s ear.

“Happy Full Moon Festival, Cresselia.”
