Manuella (Manny) Santos-jade10
Manny was known for being a cute, sassy, head-strong cheerleader but ended up being known as the "school slut" who
lives at Emma's because her parents kicked her out.
On the upside, she scored a top acting agent and got together with Craig. Now she's ready to put her past behind her.
All she has to do is fill the vacuum left by Paige, head up the Spirit Squad, and become Degrassi's Queen-Bee.
No problemo. But Manny's learned a lot the past few years -- so what's going to happen when the going gets really
tough?

 

Ellie Nash-falloutrocker 
Ellie's still that strong, confident, punky girl who's always ready to help a friend.
She helped Jimmy when he was trying to redefine who he is and was even supportive of Craig's choice to go to Vancouver
despite the fact she had a monster crush on him.
With the dissolution of "Downtown Sasquatch", Ellie has traded her drumsticks for a computer keyboard and she's intent
on becoming a journalist and getting the full 'frosh' experience.
Single, self-possessed and ready to tackle anything, the possibilities seem endless for Ellie.




Alex Nunez-Xxdark_lovexX
Alex made the transition from beautiful bad girl to pseudo-member of the cool clique thanks to her friendship with
Paige but she didn't lose her edge in the process.
It's not surprising that Alex spent the year living in the moment, cutting class and smoking pot while everyone was
planning for their future.
What was surprising is that Alex fell in love... with Paige. Their brief romance ended when differences drove them
apart but Alex is over it (or so she says).



 
Paige Michalchuk-ZEROspace
Pretty, stylish, popular, Paige used to be the sharp-tongued Machiavellian princess of Degrassi but somehow she's
softened a little.
Paige's last year went according to plan with the exception that her relationship with Matt didn't work out, she
almost
blew her shot at getting into Banting University and she explored her sexuality via a brief, unexpected relationship
with none other than Alex (ok, so, not really according to plan at all).
But by the time the graduation caps spun through the air, she got her Banting acceptance letter and it looks like
everything will be fine -- except that she's going to miss her friends in Toronto - maybe even more than she realizes.





Ashley Kerwin-skater_8grl
Magnetic, arty, outsider Ashley returned from a year abroad in London with a new attitude and a new perspective. In a
word the experience was fantastic (or "magic" as they say in London).
Granted, she broke up with her boyfriend, Alister, and fell behind in her school work but it was so good for her
music.
Having to do another year at Degrassi isn't exactly a dream come true but it isn't all bad. She kinda missed the place
while she was away and realized she kinda missed Jimmy Brooks too.


Emma Nelson- 2sexy4ya
Emma's always ready to help people she cares about, but it isn't always easy -- especially when her loyalties are
divided.
She tried to help Manny get revenge on Peter only to end up falling for him and having a secret relationship for
months.
After she caught Snake kissing Ms. Hatzilakos she had to choose between telling her mom or keeping Snake's secret.
It was no surprise when things spiraled out of control and Emma ended up in a struggle with anorexia that landed her
in
the hospital.
After going through counselling, Emma's ready to put it all behind her and get on with her life -- but Emma has no
idea
what else is coming her way. Has she grown up enough to deal with it?

Mia Jones
Mia's only 16, but she knows exactly where her strengths are.
She's a kick-ass athlete who's also really smart, and she'd have to be -- Mia's been balancing a whole lot: school,
cheerleading, and her 2 year old daughter -- for a long time.
Nobody really understands how she does it and some people think she shouldn't do so much -- but Mia doesn't care.
She knows the difference between right and wrong and she's not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. As long as
she does what's right for her and fits in all the different aspects of her life -- she's thrilled.

Darcy Edwards
Beautiful, charming, witty cheerleader Darcy is every boy's dream -- provided you're into abstinence and a Christian
upbringing.
Darcy welcomed Spinner into her heart and into Degrassi's Christian "Friendship Club" with open arms.
It took a while, but Spinner began to appreciate her lifestyle, even going so far as to take a vow of abstinence with
her.
When she learned Spinner had been dishonest about his sexual past she broke up with him and after he lied about
sleeping with Paige it looks like they were done for good.
But will their break-up cause Darcy to find solace in her faith or send her down a dark road? 




Marco Del Rossi
Marco's always been the nice, sexy, fashionable guy and proof that being openly out at school doesn't mean you can't
be
popular.
It wasn't all roses for Marco, though. He had to contend with homophobia from the "Friendship Club" and his father
wasn't very accepting when Marco finally got the confidence to come out to him.
His almost-relationship with Tim ended before it began thanks to an old flame -- none other that Dylan Michalchuk.
Now Marco's taking a huge step by moving in with Dylan -- and telling his parents they're just roommates.
With all Marco's friends in different places, he's about to learn how to rely on himself -- and he hopes that'll be






Craig Manning-Adam_Tyler
An emo guy with looks and talent, Craig got dumped by Ashley and decided to spend the year focused on one thing -- his
music career. 
Manny and Ellie had other plans, however, and it wasn't long before a heated love triangle ended with Manny and Craig
in each other's arms. 
Later, Craig got accepted to university the same time "Downtown Sasquatch" got accepted to the Northern Sounds
Showcase. 
Forced to make a choice, Craig decided to do the show solo and went off to Vancouver to record, which means a long
distance relationship for him and Manny. 
But will the rock and roll life be all it's cracked up to be? 



Gavin (Spinner) Mason
Spinner managed to get back into Degrassi despite his involvement with the school shooting.
Hatzilakos may have given him a second chance but no one else was willing to -- especially Jimmy.
Spinner found solace with Darcy and joined the Christian-based "Friendship Club" which further alienated him from his
old friends.
He didn't care, he was ready to change his life for Darcy. But Spinner proved that you can't teach an old dog new
tricks when he wrecked things with Darcy and ended up in bed with Paige.
His year ended bittersweet -- he may have lost Darcy but he managed to reconnect with Jimmy.
Spinner knows this year is his last chance to get his life on track -- but will he be able to make it through without
messing up again?

Jimmy Brooks
Jimmy's still all heart, open-minded and a good friend but he hasn't been sure of himself since the school shooting
left him in a wheelchair.
He spent a lot of time rebuilding his past life only to find out it wasn't what he wanted so he quit the band and
basketball.
He developed his artistic side (while developing an unrequited crush on Ellie which cost him his relationship with
Hazel) and even found it in his heart to forgive Spinner.
At the crossroads of who he was and who he wants to be, Jimmy knows one thing's for sure -- he's not going to be known
as "the guy in the wheelchair".
Coming back to pick up a couple of courses at Degrassi will give him the time he needs to figure out life after high
school, rekindle a friendship with Spinner and navigate the challenges of a more grown-up relationship with Ashley.

Jay Hogart- alexemoxulo
Jay's always been a badass who's only looking out for number one and last year proved no different.
He almost wrecked things between Spinner and Darcy in a bid to get his old friend back, he coerced JT into selling
drugs and didn't bat an eye when JT ended up in the hospital thanks to an overdose.
The guy's just trouble. If he feels anything for anyone it's Alex -- according to Jay they're the same person.
Unfortunately for him, Alex doesn't see it that way, they're just friends.
This year, Jay's happy that old buddy Sean's back in town -- even if Sean does become a permanent fixture on his
couch.
