Ok, so at school I'm good at math, and more than a little. I'm going into seventh grade, and if I want to I can take
Algebra, a high school level class. I passed the test at the end of last year so that I could take Algebra in seventh
grade if I wanted to, but I don't know.
I want to take it because it's Algebra, and I think I would really like it (Yes, I'm one of those people who like
math). There would be four other seventh graders in there with me, so I wouldn't be alone. I don't want to not take it
this year because I don't want to be in just the eighth grade math, which I will get if I'm not in Algebra.
My mom doesn't want me to take it. She doesn't want me to run out of options in math to take while I'm in school. We
counted it, and if I take Algebra this year and I take one math class every year, then I would have to take College
math as a senior. I'm good at math compared to everyone else in my grade, but compared to my other subjects it's not my
best. I'm best at English/Language Arts, then Math and History are about the same, then Science.
My mom says it's my choice though, but I'm so confused I don't know what to pick!
I want to see what other people say, so I've got a poll and please let me know what you think.
A. Take Algebra.
B. Don't take Algebra.
