I'm Natasha. I'm fourteen. I think Jamie Campbell Bower is completely
beautiful. I think James Marsters is amazing. I make lists with my
friends about what celebrities we totally would. We bond over our
strange love of strange men. I often say I want to marry people and
bear their children.
I have friends. They're very special. I like making them laugh; I've
gotten to the point with one of them where I can just say their name
and they laugh. I say fish as an insult. When I'm laughing I say La
Mow. When somebody says something I need explaining I say 'woah woah
woah, hold the phone, dogman." I go to ASDA a lot. We jokingly call it
our hangout. We have many fond memories there, such as the time we got
in the lift and forgot to press the button. When the doors opened we
walked out and thought we'd been transported into an alternate
reality. Scene is dead.
I have strange taste. My friends have JLS or Miley Cyrus or Fall Out
Boy on their mp3 players. I have the Original London Cast Recording of
Les Miserables and various other musicals songs. My friends often grab
my headphones and listen in - of course, they don't get it, but I've
learnt to deal with that now. Just as they've learnt to deal with the
fact that I have no idea who any of the people they listen to are.
I've done a lot of things in life I'm not proud of. I think I'm a
little bit in love with someone who I shouldn't be. I've nearly gotten
thrown out of a cinema before. I've nearly gotten thrown out a lot of
places. I've gotten my friends into trouble. I've gotten myself into
deeper trouble. I'm nothing like people at school think I am. People
tend to be shocked by me. People seem to be uncomfortable around me.
My friends think I'm either morbid or high. All of the time.
I want to work in musical theatre or photography. I like reading
books; I like classics, which throws my friends, but I also like books
about vampires and stage schools and filthy rich teenagers. My friends
get creeped out by my room because I collect porcelain dolls. I don't
deal very well with the Chucky films. I don't deal very well with
'real ghost footage'. I do deal with ghost films, vampire films,
werewolf films and pretty much all horror movies.
As soon as I turn sixteen I'm getting an Oscar Wilde quote down my
forearm (don't judge me - I've wanted it done since I was nine) and
'do you hear the people sing' tattooed across my wrist. My friend Sam
Janwich says I dress like a cross between a vampire and a pimp.
