Pokemon DP 1 Following a Maiden's Voyage/ Setting Off! From Futaba Town to Masago Town
Dawn/Hikari has turned 10 years old and is now ready to begin her journey. From Twinleaf Town/Futuba Town Dawn wants to
become a great Pokemon Coordinator just like her mom. She dreams about what pokemon she will choose as her starter. With
a map she sets off to Sandgem Town to get her starter. She wanted to take a big suitcase full of contest dresses but her
mom stops saying its not practical. So Dawn sets off with her bike and her amp and her small bag her mom gave her along
with an old ribbon her mom won and gave to Dawn for good luck.  She eventually gets lost and can't find the Pokemon
lab. She bumps into Professor Rowen who leads her to the Pokemon Lab. When she gets there she discovers that Piplup and
Chimchar are missing and Turtwig is left. Dawn decides to set off looking for them near Lake Verity. Dawn first spots
Piplup trapped in an aridos web she saves Piplup and offers it some food. Piplup declines. Then they get attacked by a
group of aridos Piplup saves Dawn by using bide. Dawn then gives Piplup some pokemon food and piplup gladly accepts it.
Dawn and Piplup then see a projected soul of Mesprit not knowing it is Mesprit. They also see CHimchar being carried
back to the lab by Staravia. Dawn and Piplup decide to go back too. Dawn tells Professor Rowen what she saw at Lake
Verity and tells Dawn it might be a mesprit a legendary pokemon. Dawn then chooses Piplup as her starter dissapointing
Chimchar. Dawn and Piplup set off on their journey while Satoshi/Ash has just arrived in sinnoh. While talking to
Professor Oak Ash's Pikachu is stolen by Team Rocket. With only Aipom at his side Ash is sent on a chase to get Pikachu
back.
