Sanyu & I
A short about me is what follows. I'm heavily
influenced by Japanese culture and society, without trying to sound
weaboo or wapanese, that is hard, but I am neither, I would like to
think.

I never cared a great deal for music until I listened to Jrock. The
Pillows is the first band I really got into. From there I learnt to
truly appreciate music. I had never heard a bass used in such a way
as when I heard some of these Jrock bands, particularly Toshiya from
Dir en Grey. Hence my name on here. He inspired me to pick up the
bass, as of now I have been playing bass for around 6 years, with
fair amount of experience in other instruments also.

Another passion of mine is gaming. I started when I was quite young.
The NES was my first console to get my hands on. I also went to other
systems such as the Atari 2600 and Intellivision at the time. Moved up
through all the systems, from Sega's to Playstation's etc.

Lastly, animé & manga are very fond to me. I don't have any
particular genre or style I like, I like many different styles. Death
Note is certainly one of my favorites. Waiting for new episodes to hit
the web was great. Lots of other great stuff too.
